I have the pixel watch 1 and its pretty great. Not as good as an apple watch with the software but its still pretty good. Lasts a day and a half with the battery too with always on display off

Yes, you can send and receive text messages! I get notifications from Instagram, so I assume it's the same case for Facebook. Eye patches are for dark circles, fine lines, tightening, etc.
