Hahaha it makes me laugh hearing every comments you make, but I agree with you. Telenovelas does not gives much greatness in others ways but only the dramas it makes.
You're thinking from your perspective as a viewer, that's why you can't accept the fact that Ibarra's disguise is working. Imagine you're the captain and have accepted wholeheartedly that Ibarra has been dead for 13 years. Subconsciously, he could not have suspected a blonde foreigner that looks and acts legit to be disguising. Seeing Ibarra's eyes through those tinted glasses would not have been enough to reveal his true identity. Even Basilio, who knew that Ibarra is alive, didn't recognize him until Simoun hugged him.
True. In this tv show version I prefer Noli. But in the book version I like the El Fili more because the story is more meaningful and interesting although its tragic. That's why many viewers react that it would be much better if they make the El Fili as a season 2. Instead of insisting to continue this in a rush. Still a good show though.
It's the same with Superman, when his Clark in his glasses they can't recognize him probably it's the same concept with Simoun they can't tell his Crisostomo because of his new hair and tiny glasses, just saying 😅
Hahahaha we really hate Padre Salve he's really a good actor ...anyways its more exciting on the next episode and I'm so excited watching it with you Ovela .. thanks again 👍♥️
When I was in Third Year high school, I really liked the Noli Me Tangere. When I became Fourth Year high school I got tired reading it/ studying it. There are so many bad things that happen. Especially in the death of Maria Clara ( I know you already know in the original book, Maria died). Anyway, I'm happy that you are still reacting to this show.
They didn't have voice recorders/videotapes back then in the 1890s (at least in the PH). Photographs were limited. Its been 13 yrs since Crisostomo had "died". Its possible that they had already forgotten what he looked/sounded like.
El Fili is good(the actual novel) and tbh I like it more than Noli even though it's more tragic. It's just that the execution of GMA was rushed and some scenes and important details in the book were not shown/tackled especially Kabesang Tales story arc.
Maria Clara might have been the one who chose to go to the convent but she didn't know that Padre Salvi would get himself reassigned to that convent. She could not get out anymore because Padre Salvi is the one controlling that convent. Going to the convent was the only way she thought could help her survive Ibarra's death, and to protect his father's reputation from being dragged further through the mud. If she had decided to stay in the secular world that time, people would just keep gossiping about her family's tragic fate.
Honestly I like the insights exchanges between basilio and simoun, 2 opinions being expressed, But I mostly skipped overly dramatic scenes and I felt it's so slow. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Salamat ovela napaka tyaga mo din you deserve more subscriber
Yess!! 🎉🎉❤

Thank you Ovela.
yessss. another reaction of MCAI❤️❤️❤️
The scene where maria clara was asking for crisostomo to save her was just crisostomo's dream.
The way padre salvi reacts to the book, I think that's how friars reacted when they got a copy of the book from Rizal
In case you dont know, Juli and her father are the one who saves Basilio when he was separated from his mother

i totally agree 👍
agree
was the show originally supposed to depict the narrative of Noli book?
Yeah, I'm super disappointed by GMA's adaptation of Fili's novel.
It's been 13 years, I can even forget the face of the people I met last year, a decade and they might be completely wiped out from my memory.
Klay being told to walk reminded me of what happened to Rizal's mother

Noon ang limang daang peso ang halaga ay limang melyon pero ngayon limang peso na lang😂

Padre Damaso is not dead, just wait for his appearance in the remaining episodes 😊

kakainis lang, parang hindi nag-iisip eh tapos mag-eexpect ng genuine reaction pero ini-spoil
