I saw a guy comment once that “there’s never any reason to assist with birthing, what would they do in the wild?” They would die, Chad, that’s what they’d do. So glad you were able to save all the lives involved in this crisis. Excellent work.
I agree. And every time they give birth with no one there is always amazing, but it doesn’t always happen like that. They can end up losing mommy and kids.
Thats why we raise them on our farms and assist if need be to avoid any more deaths than in the wild….SAVING LIVES!!! That’s what is important!!
That's EXACTLY what would have happened. Without this woman, this doe and her kids would have died for sure! Just because there's no assistance in the wild (for obvious reasons) does not mean you should not assist them here. It would be cruel not to.
@@nissaniss4251 yes. Nature doesn’t care. People do.
These are domestic animals too btw. Survival of the fittest should never apply to a domesticated animal!
You are a force to be reckoned with Crystal. Watching the way you handle obvious extreme stress and nervousness is such a lesson in life. You are an amazing woman.
Amen! Amazing job, I would have been crying so hard, but she did awesome!
Let that woman have a bit of whiskey now!
@@RendaJane honestly just get her the bottle 😂
Yes!!
You were wonderful . I think Emily just had a good Teaching experience there. ❤
WOW! That was intense. I can't believe those little stinkers were all does! You are a true hero, Crystal. You saved them all.
I had to fast forward through all three births because I couldn’t stand to see Maddie in so much pain. I’m SO GRATEFUL that you were there to help her as she was surely in a very dangerous situation.
Thank you. And most of all… THANK GOD for giving you the ability to recognize when a doe is in distress, and to know when and what to do to help. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Congratulations, Maddie!!! You have three beautiful new babies!!!
💛💛💛
Oh man what a bad position for the first kid!! It's so hard to position them when they are all crammed in there. You are a Rockstar, Crystal.
YES SHE IS!!! but please no encore. I don’t want that to happen again🫣
Agree, Crystal did so so wonderful, I was sweating bullets, watching this one, praying for Maddie and her babies (best luck were does). Then praying for Emily didn’t lose her Miss Maddie. Was praying for Crystal, to give her strength that she needed. What a beautiful wonderful outcome. So happy for Maddie, her lovely does, and her human family.
This is why I prefer full size goats, at least you have a bit more room to work in the event of problems. Excellent work in a difficult situation.
I wanted to buy Crystal
a shot of whiskey when it was over. I wanted one myself before all of the kids escaped 💙
@@RendaJane 😂
Emily's intuition was spot on then, she knew something was wrong
You are an extraordinary women! Not only did you have the skills to do what was needed you were able to keep your composure the entire time! What a blessing for such a wonderful outcome! Very happy for all of you ❤️
You did fantastic delivering the babies. Maddie knew you were helping her deliver the pretzel babies. Congratulations on the three new does!
Maddie was so quiet throughout the painful delivery. You both were amazing ❤
Bloody hell, it’s like trying to unravel a pan of cooked spaghetti wearing a blind fold.
That's the perfect analogy
What a nail-biting delivery. So happy everyone made it threw. Christel, you are one heck of a goat MoMA. That was a rough one. Poor Mattie, but she knew you were there to help her. Beautiful doelings. God Blessings to all.
Yes 🙌
God Bless y’all 🙏
I’m thinking Mattie will not ever want to lay eyes on a Male Again!😢
baby goat: I remember that hand coming for me.... RUN!
Lol
Only after the 3 babies had been delivered did I realize that my shoulders had been tensed up the whole time watching the video.
Chrystal you were so determined to get them safely delivered, your perseverance was amazing to watch, so well done!
Me too
Emily called it. Wishing everything went well xx just glad you we're there to do what you do best. Love everything you do. No shade nor negativity thrown what so ever. You all do amazing and love your channel ❤️
I knew Em was right! The time we don't want her to be right. She knows her Mattie.
I think I held my breath the whole time! You’re a rock star Crystal! So happy that everyone is ok!
Crystal, you did an AMAZING job delivering those wrapped up babies. Please get yourself that whiskey drink and a huge pat on the back.
So thankful all 3 babies and Maddie made it out alive 🙏🏽
Crystal might wanna make that a couple of whiskeys !
@@lindawingate4749 Maybe it's still one drink, but who knows how big that glass will be.
@@mekellew 🤪
Right? She's amazing! Damn, that woman needs whiskey and a HUG lol. She does an awesome job. I hope everything goes smoothly for that poor doe and her babies now. ❤🫂
Essa cabra não pode mais ficar prenha sofre muito muito a hora de pari ainda sem nestezia e muita judiacao 😢😢😢😢 Brasil.
Oh my God watching this I was holding my breath. The pain etched on Crystal's face and the anxious looks on Emily's and Maddie suffering😢 praying all will be ok
Oh My Goodness... The worst it can get? My heart is breaking, thinking ya'll lost Maddy AND the babies!
That's what the title made me think.
I've been putting off watching it because of that. Had to mentally prepare myself while getting ready for my first kidding here, too.
Oh my goodness Crystal. So glad you were able to get them out alive and Maddie not too traumatized. It was truly scary there for a while.
Wow, Crystal, that was some Olympic level midwifery, and you deserve the gold medal! Whew! That was so intense. Even though I know this happened some time ago, I was still holding my breath, and sending prayers through the space/time continuum! Those pretzel doughs...I mean does, were so twisted up! LOL.
GIRL YOU ARE A ROCKSTAR!!!!! You saved the mom an all the kids AND you kept your self TOGETHER!!!!! I'd of been ugly crying after the 1st one !!!! You are just AMAZING an so is your daughter cause she kept her COOL TOO !!!! 🐐💜
Absolutely fantastic efforts on your part Crystal! You and Maddie did NOT give up. Emily stayed right with you all, ready to do whatever was needed. Congratulations.
I’ve said it before and ill say it again! Crystal you are the bravest, strongest and most knowledgeable woman in the goat world. The best of the best!!!❤️👏🏻
You are amazing and such a wonderful example for Emily and so many others. Maddie definitely put you through it and you did it! I admire your love for animals and the knowledge and awareness you are spreading. Great job to everyone!
What an outstanding emergency delivery! Crystal, you rock!
I was almost in tears for You and Her!! You All Did Amazing!! ❤❤❤❤🦋💐
Crystal, you are a rock star! So glad to see everyone is alright. The doelings are beautiful and Maddie is such a great mama. Congratulations Emily!
Great job keeping it together, both of you. I was feeling the stress here and I wasn’t even there. Thank you for what you do to help the mommas recover.❤❤
Oh my now I understand why Maddy needed her own video!! I was SO scared! I started praying!!! I’m so glad she AND all of her babies are ok!! Good on you Crystal!!
Okk, this video made me a nervous wreck, lol! Crystal, you are awesome girl! Poor Maddie . This was a hard one for her. Those darn babies! Love you guys and all you do. If everyone loved their animals like you guys do! Crystal, you are the best!!!!!
The whole time I kept telling you “you got this”… just know we are all cheering you on even if you can’t hear us
You are so brave Crystal. I am crying and i am not a cryer.
Ever time you put your hand in. My heart goes worrying. You’re the best. I hope she will be ok.
WOW! I had all the confidence in Crystal pulling the kids, but I was so scared of losing Maddie. Great job, Crystal! (I had to laugh when Crystal said she would go in and Emily nervously replied, “I know!”) I’m so impressed with the tenacity in this birth and thankful the doelings were all live births. So happy Maddie is still with us. This one was a nail-biter for sure.
poor Emily's baby. She looked worried you was going to make her do it. Crystal - you make me feel like anything is possible. Thank you for these videos. You help a lot of goat lovers with knowledge. Thank you. And you are a rockstar!!! Greatly appreciate what you do.
I Know that this was a few weeks ago but I couldn't help but to start praying for Maddie and Chrystal. I am still praying at the end🙏 I was holding my breath and pushing. I couldn't even imagine what it was like being there. Congratulations Maddie, Emily and BCDG🎊🥳

Whew!! I can finally breathe! I'll have a whiskey with you, Crystal😂! Emily's instinct was spot on with her Maddie! The kids are so precious! Congratulations, yall! ❤
Mahn cute little Brats ❤ .Poor Maddie .I think she is never gonna have triplet does again 😅.Maddie's kids disproved Crystal theory of ' Bucks make deliveries complicated '😂
Maddie also had triplets( 3 does)in 2020
And i think she had third time having triplets!
@@TheLegend_8252 i know . This is her secobd time having triplets and all does .
That was some birth, thank God you were able to turn them, stay positive and calm and I am pleased that you had 3 healthy babies and that momma is fine. ❤❤❤❤
Thank goodness goats don’t usually bite!
Wow! I was holding my breath, dang girl nice job and Maddie prayers for a quick recovery ❤
I literally could not breathe this whole video , my goodness, my heart! Sending you all the prayers 🙏
I would think that Mama might need a shot of antibiotics.
Oh wow! Poor Maddie. I think I was more concerned for her than the babies. Crystal you definitely deserve a drink!!!❤❤ Beautiful little girls.
Awww Poor Maddie ❤ Legend's first 2024 Babies. Those girls are so similar .
❤Glad everyone is good! It was tense watching but you all did great.😊
Master goatkeeper Crystal ,your the bomb. Beautiful ending for a difficult situation and a great addition to an awesome herd.
That was intense! I just can’t even imagine what it would be like there in person. He did an awesome job. And so did Maddie.❤️
Your Dedication and Perseverance are Impeccable. Truly someone who cares about her animals health and welfare . You are to be commended. Kudos to you. 😮😮😮😮❤🎉😊😅😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
Curled spine first?! I don't think so miss! Without the skill of a fantastic midwife, all three were born successfully, alive, and in great shape! Great job for the whole team - Emily you are a perfect wingwoman. I know your support means the world to your mom.
What a terrible positioning that first kid had, but Maddie was like "WHERE'S Ma' BABY! I need it NOW!" She didn't even mind you messing with her as much as she loves Emily, she also just wanted to see that baby! Good job Crystal, Good job Emily..what a trooper Maddie..New name sfor babies....Maelstrom and Melange and Muddle
This was your most dramatic video yet ! My heart was pounding, my eyes were glued to the screen, so intense 😳
Oh wow I was sitting on the edge of my chair. Crystal you saved all their lives, great job
Beautiful.. Crystal when you said "you little shit" I was both laughing and crying.
MayDay would be a cute name for one of those girls. LoL Geat job Crystal! That was so intense...I need a strong cup of coffee now hahaha. Y'all God bless and take care
I’m nervous based on the thumbnail caption
Crystal i vould see the pain in your face knowing that Maddie was in trouble. So happy that things worked out for the good and that everyone recovers well.
That was crazy traumatic for everyone involved... Sorry you had to go through it!
I think in all the years I've been watching BCDG this is the first time I've ever heard Crystal swear.
Crystal and Emily y'all did a great job, congratulations on three beautiful doelings!
Hi Emily and Cystal. I have been watching you for months, watched all the videos thru the yrs. This was absolutely amazing. You didn't panic, yell call the vet, you knew what needed to be done and did it with a calm cool head. It was difficult to watch, praying for your success to get the babies out. Praying for you to save the mother. You saved them ALL. Beautiful little girls. Congratulations to both of you for keeping your wits about you. I love your channel and have learned so much about goats. Thank you!
Crystal, I have just started watching your videos. You are a rock star! Been an ICU nurse close to 40 years, have seen some amazing things in my lifetime, but this was amazing. I’m sure the potential for loss of live and subsequent infection was forefront in your thoughts. I just have to say how caring and amazing you and your family are. Celebrate the wins!
Whoo wee, you were amazing Crystal, I hope that was a once in a lifetime situation and it doesn’t happen ever again. All those does wanted to come out at the same time.
❤❤sending love and blessings ❤
Good job Maddie good job Crystal!
What a traumatic delivery with happy ending.. 3 Does uhh❤
So thankful everyone was ok. I have never had to pull goats but I have had to pull calves and foals.. my heart was in my throat for you. It’s always SO stressful for ALL involved. The mare that made me decide I was DONE with breeding had a red bag, caused by premature placental separation, so no oxygen to baby.. an EMERGENCY! They are often born still inside the placental sack. I am thankful I was right there and could go in and get the foal. Immediately called the vet and had her on the way. My mare had to be transported to the vet hospital for several days due to bleeding and to prevent infection. Also had to have specialized care for the foal as he was a ‘dummy’ foal. Both did finally recover fully, but it was enough to sour me to breeding.
@melissaspake,
Wow, how incredible!
Sounds like you did all the right things to help your mare & foal.
Big respect! ❤️
What is a dummy foal?
@@aurorarose1098 for reasons not entirely understood, possibly because I rushed the birthing process, they aren’t squeezed like they normally would be during birth and it’s kind of like their brain takes a while to comprehend that they are BORN. They have trouble nursing, standing, etc. they just tend to be ‘slow’. There are procedures now that can help, but it CAN cause the loss of the foal. I’m sure i explained that horribly, but that’s the best way I know to explain it
@@melissaspake7727 Thank you for the explanation! I think you explained that wonderfully.
Poor Maddie ! So so glad everyone did ok!!! That was a rough one on the edge of my seat.
Wow! Really well done, and an amazing learning experience for your daughter. I am a large animal veterinary technician, so I get how emotionally exhausting (as well as physical) this is. Way to hang in there, Crystal. And how about that amazing doe???? I was so impressed with how quiet and calm she stayed. That was a lot. For everyone. Glad everything turned out ok, and MY GOD, those kids are GORGEOUS!!!!! 😍😍😍
Poor Maddie. Glad the doelings seem active and healthy. Hope momma heals well from all this. That must not have been fun
You poor dears, what a calamity. You handled it as best you could, so glad you were there to help here. Poor Emily must of been nail biting
Oh Crystal, your amazing!! My stress level was through the roof, don't know how you do it!!! Emily's scared face was so distressing bless her heart. Congratulations. Xxx
Name that baby Miracle! Wow that was super intense! Crystal deserves several shots of Jack and Maddie deserves a morphine drip, lol. I’ve always admired and respected all you do but after today WOW you’re a BOSS B no doubt!
Awesome job Crystal, all 3 baby are alive and momma doing good. I was cheering you on. I know how stressful that is, I had a kid stuck and momma screaming, got the kid out but I became a crying mess afterwards, lol. I have been watching you for years and have learned so much. You have beautiful goats and babies are gorgeous. ❤
The 3rd one born is stunning. Love the markings. Well done for such a difficult delivery.
That was a knuckle biter 😮 for sure! ❤ I really appreciate you Crystal and Emily and your whole family. Hugs and pets for Maddie! 😊
Oh my gosh, they are SOOOO friggin cute!!! I’m so glad they’re all healthy and made it through!
Another incredibly impressive delivery, all safe and healthy. How blessed is Emily to be trained by such a talented goat doula as Crystal. And how blessed are we viewers that you shared this miracle of life with us .❤😇❤
I think I held my breath through most of the video, and I also almost cried, and prayed at the same time. Goodness! Poor Maddie, but congrats on three does!
Amazing job Crystal. Wow poor Maddie. I am so happy the babies are ok. Congratulations to you both. Emily, Maddie is good now. ❤❤❤
Crystal, you are an absolute rock star! I can't believe how well you did. I had my first disastrous kidding this year with quads that were all back feet first and I lost two of them. I learned so much from this video. No vet could have done as well as you did.
Oh honey, the way my heart was racing along with yours during that tough labor! I wish you could hear me through the video cheering you on! “You got this!” “I believe in you!” “Trust your gut!” I am so glad you have three healthy babies and momma!
That was amazing!!! You saved ALL of them!!! I cried the whole time!!! What pain mama must have endured!!! God bless all of you!!!
Crystal.... You've made me smile a few times but this video.... You're absolutely amazing!!!
❤️
You are a wonderful helper, thank God for your ❤❤❤
Thanks, Crystal for helping Maddy and baby, my nerves were shots helping you all the way from South Africa.
That was so tense. You got it done Crystal!
All I did was watch and I need a drink…amazing work. Poor Mama…she would not have survived without Crystal’s help and her death would have been agonizing. Three cuteness overload beautiful healthy babies.
THAT was very intense! I feel worn out now. Kudos to you for experience, confidence and apparently crazy skills! I raised a few goats and only had to get some folded legs up next to head. I don’t think with as little experience as I had then I could have gone any further. I think with anyone else there may have not been such a great outcome. Congratulations Crystal, you are the bomb!❤❤
Poor Maddie, that was rough, but once again Crystal you saved the day! Well done you! 😊 3 gorgeous doelings!
Oh man that was tense, intense, and Stressful!! Great job Crystal! Emily sure sensed the troubling issues- great job Emily!
Great job with the delivery of the sweet little girls! Mattie was a trooper! Thanks for sharing the video and your love of the animals.
Oh wow, you are a hero!! It’s so hard to watch animals in pain!! Congratulations to Maddie, the new mommy!!❤❤
Your animals are so blessed to be in your care!! And those babies are SO stinkin’ cute!!
That was scary! It is interesting that Emily kinda had a feeling it wasn’t going well so soon. I am so glad it worked out on all counts - it would have been heartbreaking on all counts if it did not. Chrystal, you did a fantastic job - so difficult and under so I h pressure! Thank you for showing us this. ❤
Crystal, you are an amazing woman and mother. Your love for your babies shows in everything you do.
Thank you for showing that it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. Much love to you
One of the scariest things ive seen
People dont understand how difficult it is to get a folded baby straightened when a vise is crushing your hand...
The fear that you cant sort it out, that something will be punctured, someting dead, the doe quitting... So many scenarios.
So thankful all is good
Now you need a tea and a nap
Wow, that was a stressor, I could hardly watch so glad all turned out for the best. I would say that both of you certainly deserve a rest. Congratulations.❤
Emily looks so much like my oldest granddaughter. Shape of the face, eyes, freckles across the Norse and hair color. It is amazing!!!
Poor maddie .... all those babies crystal your the best and your daughter is lucky to learn from u
When you said “hi” to the baby’s head when it was still in uterus
Crystal!!! WOW 😮YOU ARE THE BEST! ❤. Big Congratulations!
Hardest delivery ever!!!! I held my breath all the way thru!!!!
My mom and I love your channel! We've learned so much. We're trying to learn all we can as we're starting a homestead with Nubians and Nigerians. Our breeder whom we're working with has the doe we bought from her bred. So, we're trying to learn everything we can about the birthing process (the good and bad, got to be prepared for EVERY possible outcome). Thankfully my dad used to do cattle, which was a very similar process. So glad your doe and her babies are okay! I hope everything goes more smoothly for them. Bless her heart.
Crystal - you are just so amazing. You saved beautiful Maddie as well as her naughty gorgeous babies & also looked after your wonderful daughter Emily. You are an Angel with butterflies. ❤
