Why don't they just release major games in 3 or 4-year increments, and in between do yearly roster updates/costumes as DLC? That way people who bought the main game won't have to re-buy every year, but will still have incentive to drop coin on someone's new look or someone who joins at Raw after Mania. Plus, they'll have more time creating major changes in between versions.

2K need to bring back the weapon physics from SVR2011.
I'm hoping we are going back in that direction. They keep talking about how we have throwable weapons in this one, so I'm hoping that will either improve the weapon physics, or be a focus for next year.

@jerrynaylor4092 forgot the name of the new 2k developer team I think visual concept but they aren't yukes I'm genuinely really happy for those devs cause towards the end yukes started removing stuff from past games over time and these new developers gonna clean up the mess they left they added so much back btw 2k aren't the developer team they just the publisher and pr people sane for thq but the people at thq had a more helping hand cause they understood wrestling so they could guide others
@jerrynaylor4092 Yeah, yukes did. But I'm sure 2K can look at gameplay videos of SVR 2011 weapon physics and replicate it.

The only thing that always bugs me from these games now is the damage system like j remember when a person would work on a leg after a while they would sell it and they would start limping or hold their leg. I wish they would bring that back

What would the game be like if it did have that?
I have been doing the worked element for years when playing my nephew. I know ahead of time I will lose (intentionally) and my aim is to make it look as close and entertaining (for him) as possible.

i remember gettin the wwf game demos with a personal pan pizza.
The removal of Quick Grapples was a disaster for these games. Every match is a slog now, and everyone has to wrestle the same way now. Being forced to do lock-ups for every grapple stupid and breaks match flow.
To say nothing about the continued existence of the "block" button, that just ignores most moves. They should have an option to toggle the block button on/off, so people who want play a wrestling match, can.
The only thing missing is chain wrestling , and for some who didn’t like it 2k should just add a on/off option
Problem is,chain wrestling and the lock up grapple thing to do moves are two entirely different systems to perform moves. So,they'd have to choose one.
I much prefer 2k19 for this very reason.
It felt much more complicated. I hate that wrestlers have only one assigned ground submission hold. Against computer it's so repetitive.

I would like the crowd to be fully interactive somehow so you could jump into the crowd for a post match celebration or have the crowd more involved in some matches. Maybe even have storyline angles where a fan jumps the barricade.

Unlike past WWE games it looks like they are ADDING more game modes every year rather than taking game modes away to substitute.
Hopefully a future buried alive match mode will be added amongst others.

Actually did you reference the probably 1980s arcade button mashing game track and field I loved that game I used to cheat at the arcade by using a cup to go side to side from button to button
Definitely excited for the new match types. Backstage area should add more like past games to make it more interactive
2K23 was actually pretty good I thought. I might give 2K24 a shot
It looks very good and I am very happy they brought a lot of stuff back, but I REALLY hope that they eventually bring the "Pro play" technology that they use in NBA2k.
For anyone that doesn't know, instead of having to Mocap everyone (and for a lot of moves they don't Mocap, or sometimes they do it half speed or they have one wrestler do everyone's moves so they are just imitating the original guy) they use footage to copy the exact movement that the wrestler does, with the same speed, same quirks, and it's Soo spot on.
The dribbling, shooting, and movement looks Soo much better in 2k24 and it was only the first year of implementation! So it's going to get even better and I think it would be incredible In wrestling games, because it could copy anyone's moves, even wrestlers who are long gone. I'd LOVE to see a PERFECTLY animated Bionic Elbow! And just so many other things too. The wrestlers do a great job mimicking the moves but this is next level and it could be even more spot on in coming years.
The fact it says Steve Austin ‘97 makes me think that showcase will include Bret vs Austin from Mania 13

Wish they’d just bring back the pacing and chain wrestling from the older versions. I keep seeing ppl talk about how “realistic” it feels, but how realistic would it really feel if the devs put back a pure element of the craft? Opening a match with just dry combat isn’t a selling point for me.

I was really hoping they updated Roman's championship entrance. I dont even like him like that but I wanted to see that movie of an entrance.
Absolutely agree that bringing in the "worked" part of wrestling I think could really elevate a Wrestling game. Imagine planning a match before hand with a few planned spots & be able to improv or alter to go into business for yourself. This all being with the intent to get the biggest crowd reaction that's then split between the wrestlers.
This would be especially fun in career mode for those of us that once dreamed of being superstars.
I already do this on 2k23 using 2 controllers. It's hard but it's a learning process like most challenging things.
Some of the faces don't look very good. Bayley looks horrendous, for example.
I never understood the confusion in why they continue to do showcase mode. Some ppl like it, and some ppl like going back down memory lane and reliving these matches/ stories/ events/ etc.

Have you played as cpu vs cpu. It recreates a match simulation that's not been orchestrated or pre determined 😅
Rhea/Charlotte was one of the best WWE matches in history and definitely the best match last year.

People 2k24 and 2k23 are way different 2k24 is way better. The fact that they fixed the Irish whip grapple timing is more than enough reason to get the game I hated how that would always affect me when playing. Entrances don't matter as much as the game play and they fixed that why I pre-order the deluxe edition ty 2k for prioritizing the game play first most.
The mini games ruin the 2k series for me. They are basically unplayable if you aren't able to time the pin one correctly as you just auto lose as soon as anyone covers you even at full health. Unless they change that I'm never buying another one.
I just want to know if only the men wrestlers can bleed or if they added it to where both men & women can bleed

My biggest issue with the gameplay (some people will say it’s nitpicking) but having to grapple to Irish whip is so infuriating…. IRL wrestlers Irish whip seamlessly and smoothly. They hardly if ever will go into a hold just to Irish whip… just drives me crazy
I hate it too but there's a few ways to avoid it (worked matches only, unless you wanna handicap yourself online)
1st method is to Irish whip from the back (waistlock) he'll even forearm your back before he Irish whips
2nd method is to knock your opponent into the ropes by using a strike like back elbow. From there you Irish whip him while he's on the ropes
3rd method is exclusive to 2k24. You can Irish whip while your opponent is on his knees now.
If you wanna avoid using it for grapple moves, use the combo system to use grapple moves instead. You can assign tons of moves.
Lock up/ collar n elbow only happens in beginning of matches and not when opponent is dazed. So try these out if annoys you.

Why not take the time to make an amazing game and make it so good that 2yrs later you wont even recognize the old game cause it was so well made do that and ppl will keep buying the game because of quality of the game.
they need to make reversals easier to do, sorry but i cant memorize the timing on 500 move reversals, and sometimes the butten in there and gone faster than you can react.
also the best mode, stable mode, or w/e its called where you gain cards/wrestlers, is way too fing hard sometimes. like being forced to use a tier or 2 lower than the cpu uses, it needs a difficulty slider just for those matches.
i dont mind a challange, but i do mind wasting my time on a 20 min match and get nothing to show for it cause the pc is too fing hard. aint buying another one of these till they add that difficulty slider to stable mode
I'm pretty sure you can adjust the reverse windows of different types of moves so you can make it easier for yourself. Like you can make it easier to reverse standing moves and finishers.
Stable mode? Are you talking about myFaction? I just stay away from that entirely.
@@trashdakid3682 thats what i ment, myfaction. its my most fave mode and all i played after beating john cena mode.
i love getting wrestlers and/or versions of wrestlers in there that arent in the game otherwize. and just collecting wrestlers and such. but i reaserched it and nothing you do for difficulty has any effect on myFaction. im sure its so more people just give up on the harder fights and just buy packs of cards
@godsbane13 oh when I was talking about making reversing easier, I meant in the modes like exhibition and universe mode. Nothing effects myfaction

@@SimonMillerYT on the NES port (no pencils necessary there), I was able to get infinite height on pole vault. If you reach a certain height, you start always clearing the bar, some sort of height overflow.

Man, Roman’s hair is still glitchy. I really wish they’d get BACK to the 90s to the 2000s. No Mercy & Raw 2 had fantastic mechanics that somehow have reverted. The entrance customization on RAW 2 remains undefeated. We need it back. The controls aren’t terrible, but No Mercy is still the best controls we’ve gotten.

I am hoping for a stamina system and animation like 2k19 . I not a fan of the wrestlers not getting tired it’s to arcade like gif me.
