Obviously this is a technical demonstration how to move when there is no space. Nothing else. Even in this training the woman had fun. Most criticism here is not justified. They dance the milongero style tango so this is in close embrace. Many milongero/milongera's don't even know this style and use too much space in Milongas which then leads in chaos on the dance floor.
Несколько лет назад на фестивале в Сеуле было так много людей на танцполе, что за одну песню пара продвигалась по линии танца всего на пару метров. И такая манера танцевания была очень актуальна. Constantly watching this video. Going ro attend the Four Day Philadelphia Tango Festival this Memorial day weekend. I know that it is going to be crowded on the dance floor. Going to give it a try....

But when I make 12-16 mistakes per tanda everytime I dance with a lasy.....I stop and sit down. 2) If non instructor ladies do not give me advice or do not put any effort into their dance (dance like zombies) 3)If I have no rhythm. My legs do not cooperate. It has happened. I have learning Argentine Tango Dancing for under 5 years. While I never expect do dance like an expert or like you always do on the dance floor ( with sneakers at that), I do expect to be decent at just the simple basics. Sometimes I cannot even achieve that....
I'm still watching this video. I know I will be in this situation of being boxed in somewhere on the dance floor during the 12th Philadelphia Tango Festival in two weeks.

Haha! The etiquette in Argentina, if the dance floor is crowded, everyone dances in the counterclockwise movement so the crowd moves in unison. This couple dancing in place in their own little box is actually in the way and interrupting the traffic flow. Bad Etiquette!
Every milonga we go to, when you enter, they assign you your square, the dance floor is covered with them. You have to stick to your assigned square and if you leave your square then you are kicked out. We have practiced years to get ready to get our assigned square...😏

They are good indeed, but dancing like that is boring. They repeat same 2-3 moves over and over again. Imagine doing this whole night! Besides, in a crowded space there is also a risk of somebody crashing into your partner, which makes dancing even less enjoyable. This is why I avoid crowded milongas.
Quality over quantity....I know this leader, he has never had a complaint about being "boring." On the contrary, he is known for his musicality is small spaces. No one crashes into us either, it's called navigation...
if it is boring or not for me has nothing to do with the moves or repeating them. I try to focus on music and connection. When those two fall together you wish it would not end, even with simple steps.
