What I honestly love about these videos is the pure silence and just having the entire focus on the attraction or the walkthrough of a park. All the other RUclipsrs with the overly loud, corny intros and their super long explanation of why they like a ride or not is too much a lot of the time lmao. Thanks for being so chill lmao
I remember the car that I made in 2019. It was a sleek, pink, hot-rod with gigantic engines. I don’t remember what the stats were, but my mom and I wanted it to go fast.
What I had in mind was a dragster-type vehicle, powered by something green. I chose the electric motor option, then started shaping my vehicle. I was annoyed when I didn't have a dragster-type shape (coutline was too low for the studio to let me), but went sci-fi with a teal-and-silver color scheme, this big Lamborghini-type spoiler at the back, and a set of championship-grade racing tires. The reason for an electric dragster? Once it gets going, the slim, aerodynamic design would mean that the motor generates less electricity when running at peak output, and that's helped by the racing tires, since they have high traction. The car also uses regenerative braking, which triggers a NOT gate to set of solenoid-powered failsafe disc brakes, with dual calipers for extra stopping power. Just like normal disc brakes, when the solenoid is powered on, the brake pads are un-engaged. If the engine loses power, the brakes engage due to the solenoid being powered by the regenerative braking. There is also a separate battery used to power all the other appliances onboard the vehicle, but both connect to the same charger input.
I'd love it if in a future upgrade of this attraction they put up some futuristic city scenery around the exterior portion. At the speed of the cars, it wouldn't need to be too much more detailed than a billboard. But you know, done Disney. And at night it would all light up and tie in with the interior experience.
In my opinion I like both the old and new styles of test track...I think the new one is too biolumencent and beautiful even know the old one looks great as well At 4:02 I like how they did the laser outline of the trees
Thinking back to all of the changes Disney makes in attractions right before they twilight them is perfectly captured in the changes shown in this attraction “refresh”. The story is completely lost in this update.
While I love how fast it goes it kills me that the power section is outside where that parking lot is. Totally kills any magic. Radiator springs racers goes slower than test track but at least the whole thing is themed from start to finish and nothing breaks the magic.

I wish test track had drops during the speed section like radiator springs that would make you fly out of your seat
TEST TRACK!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah yes the fastest ride at Disney world test track
