After all we reduced the District Headquarter distance from 220-300km (kargaik to kgl) to 0-89 (padum-ti kargaik)-km. Upto 1989, People travelled 7 days to reach Leh as District HQ. After 1989, kgl became a district it also got to 7 days to reach kgl. Now, we can approach the Admin from 5 minutes to 3 hrs. Of course, The district function will get late but soon..... We hope so..... Thanx all to the endeavour of Zanskar pa and the people of Ladakh...
