      You're welcome! They're not really stretches, rather assessment of the joint capsule of the hip.

    I had a phys therapist who did something similar to lateral distraction but he rotated my joing in what felt like a circular motion and I had strained my groin and remember an insane feeling of relief what is that called?

    Sir, with hip flexion, femoral head will glide posteriorly or anteriorly ?? i read a statement in a text that hip flexors glide the femoral head anteriorly, to me it seems incorrect as ,roll is in direction of movement of femur and glide is opposite so with flexion, it should be posterior glide.. whats your view?? please reply.... also we can use same analogy with shoulder joint as well ???? ... thank you

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  5 лет назад

      With hip flexion it's an impure spin movement. Same story applies to the shoulder

      @@Physiotutors thank you... one more query, if Hip flexors glide the femoral head anteriorly or posteriorly and how so ?

    • @jagenraj7767

    What's the difference between joint mob and joint play? :/

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  4 года назад +2

      Joint play is an assessment and mob a treatment

    What degree of traction do you use?

    • @Physiotutors
      @Physiotutors  6 лет назад +1

      Do you mean the degrees according to Maitland? To assess join play you always take up the whole slack, so it would be at least grade 3-4

      Physiotutors---yes that's what I meant! Thanks :)
