Next to the headlight is not an empty spot, next to the headlight is cornering light. It lights up to shed light on the left or right depending on which direction you are turning. Very useful feature to see the road and obstacles in the direction which you are turning, something many high dollar luxury cars don't have anymore. Just bought 2021 Kona Limited about 3 weeks ago, and I'm loving it! I reluctantly traded in a 2018 Elantra Sport (fav, most fun car I've ever ewned), solely because I needed something that sits higher, but not too high, easier to get in and out of with my bad arthritic knees. The Kona fits what I need perfectly, and looks sharp doing it. I'm regretting trading less and less each day. This is my 3rd Hyundai in a row. With their warranty, modern day reliability, and value for the money I won't even look at another brand anymore
Hey LEGEND17, that inner light space next to the headlight, is not empty,, it is an actual light. It's a cornering light that reflects into the direction you are turning. It will briefly light up on sharper turns and your fog lights will briefly shut off during the turn. Even Hyundai service techs don't know about this light feature. I had to take a picture of my 2021 Kona Limited to show them. They thought I was crazy when I brought it in thinking I had a bulb out, because it only lights up on one side in the direction the wheel is turned. I didn't know it was a cornering light at the time. Check it out.
@@EARTHSOUL_Asm, the cornering lights help light up the edge of the road in the direction of the corner you are turning. Turning left, the light will come on and reflect towards the left, the right one lights up when turning right and reflects to the right.
Looks just like my 2019 Kona Limited... by the way, I NEVER use my trunk release on the key fob (it's a dead button). As long as I have the key fob with me, I can just lift the trunk open, even if the car doors are locked. Can't wait for the 2022 Kona this fall as my lease will be up and I love the improved exterior design.
The Limited does not have adaptive cruise, also the area's in the headlights that you said is empty is a cornering light, they come on when you turn the wheel to a certain degree, if fog lights are on then they go out when the turning light come on
The best thing about it is the dual clutch transmission Honestly not a big fan of Hyundai They do use cheaper interior parts which is a shame and for years never been sold on strong reliability but they do back there vehicles more than most with the 100K warranty I have just fixed a lot of them in my days when I turn wrenches for people
tommy13965 I personally it looks pretty good. No one is going outta of their way to make something cool like this. Look at Nissan Honda and Toyota. Their suvs look boring. I think the Kona is the best seller in its class
Legend17 that’s why they should take a look at the Mazda cx30 more premium looking inside and out, I agree with Regarding Honda and Toyota the hrv and chr are to weak and over priced imo.

Awesome, didn’t know that. Thanks!
This happened to me as well. The service department thought I was crazy because I kept telling them only one light was on.
@@Daniel-xg3ul Yeah, you'd think the techs would know a little about the cars they service. Sheesh.

I just bought the Kona 2021 limited. I loved it is Beautiful car and Easy to Drive I just Paying 32 thousand dollars for the car.

Yeah I agree

I think the regular transmission CVt are the way to go CVT and turbocharge is what causes issues with these CVT transmission
The Ultra has the adaptive cruise
Nice one. It’s beautiful and costs just right
No ventilated?
lol where do you live? 😂 it’s a Kona
@@Iegend17 Boston!
i wish honda offered the honda hrv 1.5 vtec turbo 6 speed and cvt for our market to compete with this
It’s nice - it will be between a Hyundai Kona or Honda HR-V 😬
What did you get? I heard that the Honda's are loud when you give them gas. I bought a Kona and I love it!

sadly :(
I own a Kona , spare in the back
No Spare Tire? 😝
Will Consider Honda HR-V instead
No spare sadly
@@Iegend17 -Curious why the KONA ULTIMATE has a spare, but not the LIMITED🤔?
@@ingenunis5003 I wondered the same. The base has a spare too
The other kona limited cars at dealerships online show a spare.
I have a spare tire with the Sel Plus.
Hyundai is trying to hard on their exterior designs just a bunch of unnecessary slap on bubbly lights everywhere.
