I’m almost done with a book I think you would LOVE, it’s Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka and it’s a literary fiction thriller book (I guess that’s the best way to describe it) following a serial killer who’s on death row. The story is told through the women in his life such as his mother who abandoned him as a toddler, the twin sister of the woman he ends up marrying and then the detective who ultimately ends up bringing him down. It’s so fascinating and beautiful while being dark and bleak. I think you would really enjoy it. I haven’t read Bright Young Women by Jessica Knoll yet but from what you described Notes on an Execution has a similar vibe. 😊😊

I love that from the Chesnut Series you choose MY favorite ones! Theo and Cade were hot ones. I liked Beau but was a bit disappointed, they had so much potential but I don’t know… if felt like the story was lacking a little bit.
i dnf:ed flawless bc I though the writing, specifically the dialogue and inner monologue, was SO cringy and bad. does that get better in the other books or is it just not my taste in writing?
