Those Crusaders look great and yep painting horses is probably not at top of my list of things to paint either 😃 - Look forward to seeing how the rest of your projects unfold over the coming year 👍
Those crusaders look great Lee! The Gripping Beast miniatures may have been around for a while but they still reward a good paint job. Hope your back is on the improve mate. Thanks so much for the kind shout out.
Thanks John, we’re glad you like them, you’re right they are still good models to paint. Unfortunately my back is still giving me issues, but we are managing with it, thank you for asking. No worries on the shout out, always a pleasure watching and listening to your videos John. Take care mate 😁👍
Lovely update. Some great painting and an interesting set of projects for 2024. Looking forward to seeing your Warmaster armies later in the year, as that’s what I’m slowly working on too. Cheers!
Thanks Ken, I was only rewatching your Crusades project videos last week, great inspiration. Yeah, a busy year for sure 😂, I look forward to your next update. 😁👍
Nice looking miniatures for the upcoming campaign games. I find it interesting that your crew can plan up to a year in advance, we're lucky enough to plan past yesterday 🙄
Thank you, we’re glad you like what we’ve on them so far. I’ll be honest with you, it never used to be like that, either of us would get caught out by the shiny syndrome and the plan would keep changing 😂. This led to fewer projects being either not started or partially started, so, just before COVID we decided that we would do our best to stick to the plan. I have to say, that for the past few years it seems to have worked well and more things have been finished off. 😁👍
Awesome figures and a great update :). I was gutted when they didn't do season three of Knightfall and seems the way with streamed series :(. Epic scale ACW, Cowboys and WW2 are my projects for this year along with my 20mm Colonial Army for the Sudan :).
Thanks Fraser, we took advantage of the Wargames Foundry offer recently and order a number of packs of U.S Cavalry and Native American Indians. I’m in the early stages of writing the rules for it, hopefully it’ll all come together by the end of the year 😁👍
@@walkaboutgamez2502 They were nice, I will probably add some bits to what we've got ordered from Foundry, but the postage is crazy to the U.K. This is a shame as it would be great if they had a U.K or European outlet, like Northstar that stocks their ranges. I must admit, I do like their AWI range, they would look good alongside the ones we have 😀
Crusades project is looking good. Like the looks of Lion Rampant, got 1st and 2nd edition books, just need to get a game in. You tried Saga Age of Crusades?
Thanks Simon, much appreciated mate. We’ve got both Lion Rampant editions and have enjoyed some games we’ve played with a friends Barons War miniatures with them. I do have Saga Age of Magic, Vikings and Crusades, but have not tried them. We used to play 1st edition of Saga and had some fun with them at the time, so good shout as I’d forgotten we had the latest 2nd edition. The basing we elected to do for these is so they can be pretty flexible to fit whatever rules we play, by adding sabot trays to the units. 😁👍
Thank you David, we’re pleased you like what we’ve done with them. Regarding our Sunday night chats, we do plan to return to them at some point, but we have a couple of things going on at the moment. One is my back that is giving me a lot of grief to a point where I struggle to sit for a lengthy period of time. Also, work commitments is very busy and until that reduces and my back gets better, we’ve had to pause the shows. 😁👍
Nice ideas for your years program Lee. You did not add in the time you will be spending at shows!! What rules are you going to use for your Crusader games?
Thanks Leslie, we appreciate your support. Haha, the way my back is at the moment, we’ve not planned any shows “yet” for this year 😂. Unfortunately though, we won’t be attending Beachhead this year due to my back, which is a shame as we enjoyed meeting up with you last year. The rules we will be using for our Crusades project is pretty open with how we are basing them. Our main set we will use is Lion Rampant, by adding sabot trays to the figures we can play Soldiers of God, Hail Caesar and even To the Strongest and many others. As wargamers we always like to tinker. Take care 😁👍
Great work Lee. Sounds like you’ve got a busy year coming up. 🙂
Thanks Jim, yeah it’s certainly going to be busy for sure 😂😁
Cracking update Lee, some fantastic work there and some great plans for the year!
Thank you James, we’ve enjoyed doing them. We’re looking forward to starting the other projects, but we have also enjoyed the planning behind them. 😁👍
Cracking update Lee, love to see your project list, the Crusade figures look amazing mate
Thanks Sean, glad you liked the update and our project list for 2024. Hopefully it will all come together, I must stay away from shiny new things. 😂👍

Great update of what you will be doing and your models look fantastic mate 😁👍
Thank you kindly, glad you like what we’ve done with the miniatures and our 2024 plans. Take care 😁👍
Fantastic work on those Crusaders - very inspiring stuff! Best of luck with the '24 progress :)
Many thanks, glad you like them, hopefully the 2024 plan works 😂👍

Great stuff BB, love the miniatures and like how you’ve got a plan for the year. Funnily I don’t mind doing horses 😊
Thanks Hamster, glad you like them and our plans for 2024. Haha 😂, I wish I did mate, I don’t mind doing smaller scale horses. 😂👍
Lovely figures mate 👍
Thank you kindly Scott, glad you liked them. 😁👍
A busy year ahead, and you have reminded me I need to do an update. Nice progress on the Crusader project.
Thanks Ken, I was only rewatching your Crusades project videos last week, great inspiration. Yeah, a busy year for sure 😂, I look forward to your next update. 😁👍

Thanks Dom, glad you like them mate 😁👍
It’s looking to be great year 👍. Your October November looks like mine 🤓😉👍
Fingers crossed it will be Chris 😂. I’ll be interested to see what you do for that project also 😁👍

Excellent update Lee, looking forward to them all especially the Custer project, who made the hospitaliter troops?
Thank you Justin, it’s been a joint project that we are all enjoying. All the miniatures are from Gripping Beast mate, hope that helps. 😁👍
