These are really excellent--I hope your students appreciate the quality of these lectures. Where could I get the notes? It would be great to print them out before diving into Camus, Sartre, etc.

Dear Eric Dodson, thank you for the lecture.
    I have a question:
What did he base his types on?
I'm not a fan of characterizing people into types and usually an extremely critical when I see that occurring. Instead I tend to explain the aspects of people like the rainbow. We can pretend that the rainbow has 7 colours, however, if we look closer there are millions, and it is almost impossible to decide when one shade ends and the next begins because they have perfect transitions....
    Sorry for the short ramble.
So did he do extensive research and then create this two types based on that?
Or are they just reflections of what he thinks could be possible?
I'm just wondering because his descriptions are utterly detailed and this one fits me to a scary degree.
    So in short:
Are the typee he describes based on extensive research, if yes, in which country, under which circumstances, qualitative or quantitative research, how many participants, which ages, open-ended or closed questions, etc?

I love the structure of the videos on this channel and I miss it from the other channel. I like your insights. and I would also appreciate to see more of this Philosopher/Psychologest in depth work analysis on there too. I can think of maybe new people like simone de beauvoir or maybe more contect of Rogers or Maslow.
I thought I might share my wishes :).
overall I am greatfull to have found this channel and your other one too. thank you.

This series on Maslow has been brilliant. I didn’t know anything of him past the hierarchy of needs which as you’ve said is fairly well taught. Oddly I bought the book this series is based on several months ago after reading the general blurb of it. Spooky I then realised you’re talking directly about it! I can really relate to Maslows teachings and feel a definite connection to his stuff. Did not expect the references to Taoism, fantastic. The connections between western minds & the eastern philosophies is fascinating & notable. I tend to be really interested in these and even more so now I can see the connections/references. Thanks for your teachings.
