I love love loved this particular video and don’t get me wrong, I love the guest that you bring with you to help you to determine How good the food is but, the right reverend Michael Henderson is amazingly cool! He was fun and you both vibe great! He has a great sense of humor and if you go to do anymore reviews, please Darius take him with you lol I am a church girl And when you guys make your church jokes and descriptions of the food using church references, I just crack up because I know exactly what you’re talking about! I love to laugh and this video was amazing! I love your honesty and I love your wisdom and knowledge on things I also love your business partner, Tommy! God could not have given you a better business partner! He was so cute and funny and I hope you guys made his wife plates of food because the way Tommy was eating, he was in culinary heaven!! Lol I did not mean to make this comment long but I had so much to tell you. I’m not good at a lot of technology so I said I will tell you everything on this post. As a local, we don’t go to the tourist spots for authentic New Orleans cuisine. And no sir we don’t put cheese on a shrimp on french. And most restaurants in the FQ don’t cook Camellia’s it’s Blue Runners from a distributor. Please support black owned restaurants we have a great selection

Born and raised in New Orleans, I have to have cheese on my shrimp sandwiches whether it's on French or bun. Otherwise, I don't want it. Lettuce, tomato, hot sauce, ketchup and cheese only.
Listen - I always hated oysters. Wouldn't touch them, period - UNTIL I was in NOLA about 15 years ago for Essence Fest and a friend took us to Acme. She ordered a dozen chargrilled oysters and wouldn't rest until I agreed to try one. BBBBAAAAAABBBBBYYYY - them thangs changed my life! I can only eat these at Acme - add the chipotle tabasco and it's a wrap! There is no substitute! I'm in Houston and travel to NOLA often. Acme is my first and last stop. You making me want to hit I-10 right now!!😂😂
Hey I'm from baton rouge and acme is my favorite oyster spot. The cooks already know what me and my buddy want everything we go. If you haven't tried the doc style or ponchatrain style next time you go try them out. And yes I also always put the chipotle hot sauce on mine. It's a must
I don't even eat oysters. I went to NOLA and the chargrilled oysters CHANGED MY LIFE forever! They added crab to the chargrilled oysters at ACME and I wanted to marry the chef. OMG!!! Darius I know you don't like oysters, but you MUST taste a New Orleans chargrilled oyster!
I can’t wait to visit again and this is one of my favorite restaurants!! I love their chargrilled oysters 🦪 and drinks❤❤❤❤ Malcolm at the bar shucking oysters got me to try my first raw oyster a few months ago and it was awesome.

I had the fish platter at hello welcome Acme and it was delicious. Maybe that’s their specialty. No one in N.O should mess up Gumbo & using canned beans in a restaurant is for beginners cooks.
Why go to a place called THE OYSTER HOUSE if you don't eat oysters and then expect for the menu to be lengthy with items that aren't OYSTERS! Are you ok?!?!🤔
