I first heard this on Revenge and immediately loved it(still do). I was brought back to your music by Shadowhunters opening their first episode with Monsters. I excited to check out the rest of your music. LOVE finding new music that just gets to me so thank you! 😀
I've been listening this song (and others) for nearly a year now and until this day I still think this song is about the book City Of Glass. I mean, to those who have read it can tell that the story in the book and in the song is kinda the same. I'm not saying this was created specifically for Shadowhunters though. I just think it's very similar like "City made of thin glass" (The city), "Can't tell good and evil apart" (Sebastian), "Eyes in the back of our heads" (Yet again Sebastian because he was a spy), "When it all goes up in flames" (When Sebastian attacked City Of Glass) and "Only shadows there dwell we are" (Shadowhunters). Of course this is just what I think. Overall this is a GREAT song and I can't wait for Ruelle's new ep :)
I think my favorite song by Ruelle is Madness, such an amazing composition and vocals awesomeness :) I'm just getting into Indie and Ruelle is a favorite for sure
