In America we have a lot of weird foods. They have this dish down south apparently that has carrots and vegetables in jello, served with mayonnaise. I’ve never had it but it is apparent an acquired taste. The weirdest thing I have ever tried was pickled eel. I had it during Christmas when my Italian family was doing the seven fishes. I didn’t really enjoy it, but I ate it to be polite. As for dishes in the future, I think you would enjoy spicy Italian sausage with sautéed peppers and onions. It’s one of my favorite dishes! I have went to Korea the octopus was tasty and the Korea places was so cool! But it took me and my family pretty long to find our apartment but it was very very fun I liked it even tho it was very cold ❄️
The most unique dish in my country is goat curry (Im from jamaica) and also ackee it's kind of like a fruit) but you have to cook it very properly or have it professionally cooked. Really good tho!😉
