- Hello, nostalgia has gripped me recently and I have once again been absorbed into angsty anime video games. In all seriousness, Drv3 is a property very close to my heart despite the numerous and egregious flaws, hence animatic. Hope you all enjoy!

I have to mention that the expression on Kokichi's face before it switches to Kaito dead is absolutely sending me insane. The amount of emotion in such a simple change, you can really sense his fear.

Aaaaaaaa, god i love the part with Kokichi and Kaito changing places with the frame, so so so much.
1. How fucking DARE you make a video so good and interesting about tsumugi
2. The way you draw everyone is so pleasing to look at. They all look so Real and Alive. You made Ryoma look like an actual guy you could meet in your day to day life. God bless.
Hwsghahahq the way you drew Ryoma as a real person and not just “a short weird guy” is so great! (Almost) Everytime there are short characters in media, artists always try to make them cute or not like their actual personality.
Also 1:46 with Himiko is so heartbreaking 😭

Okay but like the whole part with “the sun ran so hot it turned the desert into glass” works so well for Gonta and Kokichi like 😭
I think one of my all time fave things about this is that you had parts of the story that she was not really shown in. but managed to get across what she would be feeling much like the Exisal and how frustrating it must be to feel she might lose at her own game. but to everyone else it would simply look like her wishing to figure out not to die with everyone else

This has become one of my favorite Danganronpa animatics of all time. I love your art style, the way you draw these characters makes them look so alive. You captured the feeling of V3 perfectly. And I also love to see Tsumugi content, she is my favorite! You drew her so beautifully
aaah there's so many cool shots and transitions in this!!! I especially love the part at 1:07 with Tsumugi changing to her virtual world avatar, but overall this animatic is so good!!! I'll probably end up rewatching it a ton of times

This is incredible!! I especially loved the gonta frame at 1:12, you really captured the despair he mustve felt even on the little virtual world avatar. Not to mention your art style and animations of Tsumugi (especially with kiibo at 1:50!!) are just AMAZING. Im obsessed with this!!!

Cannot even begin to say how gorgeous this animatic is. I’ve ALWAYS wanted to see one that uses this song! And Tsumugi as the focus is perfect. Not to mention your style is stunning and the animation is so fluid! Ahajkhsjhdf omg. Fave ever.
This is so well done, I love all the expressions, transitions, the tag off in chapter 5... the survivors mourning while Mugi hovers, the trials and deaths. Fantastic work!

This is amazingly well done. The emotions of everybody contrast extremely well with Tsumugi. Also, I love how you portrayed Kaito and Kokichi in the planning and execution of Trial 5. Seriously, this is a beautiful animatic that does incredible justice to Tsumugi’s character as well as the game as a whole!! 💖💖💕💕

This is criminally underrated-
That hair animation with maki is so good
The way you draw everyone is so good, i want to steal your art style tbh, especially the way you draw Kokichi. Idk theres just something abt how you draw his hair and outfit that is visually appealing to me. As well as that sometimes in character design, a character who acts childish will be drawn with a missing tooth or braces, and 2 times in this animatic, it looks like he has one or the other. This is a detail I find really clever. Not to mention Ryoma looks like someone who could actually exist.
Another thing is the transitions and how you portrayed certain elements.
0:10 this transition from Tsumugi to her Junko cosplay is awesome
0:30 this depiction of Rantaro's death was really cool
0:42 the water and thorns look really nice and are another cool way of depicting their deaths
1:00 that frame of korikiyo with the lipstick slays tbh
1:14 I really like the way it went from the virtual world to the real world here
1:19 - 1:23 Kokichi just looks so smug and evil here then switches to childish and unserious so quickly
1:27 Tsumugi's expression is top teir here
1:28 - 1:32 everything here from the crossbow bolts, strike-9 poison, and especially the high five + them holding the frames with the question marks is awesome
1:37 his expression here is amazing, its such a small change, but it does so much
1:38 - 1:43 this going from Kokichi's scared face, to Kaito dead, then the transition from the stars in the sky to Maki is absolutely amazing, especially the transition to Maki. The way her hair was animated was really cool
1:46 this is honestly heartbreaking, good job
1:50 - 1:55 + 2:00 I love puppetry imagery and symbolism in media, so I found this really cool
2:24 - 2:28 the way Tsumugi's hair was animated was really nice and Monokuma looked genuinely adorable, I didn't even know that was possible.
I only have nice things to say about it, and if I had a better vocabulary and the ability to write things better, I could do this animation justice with this comment. I have immediately subscribed :]
I absolutely love this art style, you made these characters more than just copy and pasted of the same base. You gave them each their own unique features and looks and just made them look so human. I adore that and the way you captured every characters feelings is amazing, especially with Kokichi though I may be biased for him 😂 Love love love this so much, amazing work

i looove your designs for all of them! v3 is . i mean its an absolute nightmare but its also got a solid place in my heart and i really do love seeing people improve on some of its potential. there's someting so - soft? about your character designs, but also in a way that makes them look like actual people/characters and like teenagers, which the art style kinda fails at in game a lot of the time. really good, and the shots are all incredible!

I'm still so obssesed with this video it actually made me really like tsumugi as a character. I never 'disliked' her but this video actually showed how interesting she is within the whole plot of thee game!
I just recently got into danganronpa, and of all the (many, many) animatics I've watched so far this is EASILY in my top two 😭I'll be so sad if the algorithm doesn't pick this video up soon, it's like, right up there with that one really popular tsumugi Villain animatic for me. astounding work, I hope more people get to see this!!
ps, idk if it was intentional, but because of the curly hair + noticeable lips, your tsumugi design ended up reading as black to me- and as a black fan I just wanted to say that I 1. noticed it and 2. really loved it, so. ye. again I dunno it it was intentional but it made me smile nonetheless so :p
I do enjoy how nervous Tsumugi looks at the exisal. She got hard outplayed by Kokichi and Kaito and it’s only because of Shuichi that she survived one more trial.

Can I just quickly talk about the transitions or just generally beautifully done parts in this as well? FOR EXAMPLE Kirumi and Ryoma turning around with the water and vines creeping into frame, Korekiyo’s transition out, stars transitioning to Maki’s jet black hair etc.
Also somehow you made Monokuma looks so adorable and he reminds me of Winnie the Pooh? He’s so cute when he looks like a cuddly teddy bear!
