I'm glad they admitted these units are designed around stage 1, which is very true out of experience trying to use their product with more than 1 bike with stage 2 and higher. If you're going to pay that price, you might as well get something like a power vision that will grow with your bike builds. 😊
Fp3 actually does cams. And is not restricted to epa cams.fp4 will do epa screaming eagle cams only in about 6-8 months per v&h tech that i called today. I also called power vision and they are the same way with the PV4. You have to get their older system for all of the other cam Tunes. EPA has the new tuners under lockdown.
I put a Vance & Hines Pro Performance 2 into 1 exhaust on my Bourget, and the increase in power of that alone was surprising! I nearly pulled a wheelie my first run out just trying to catch up to my buddy who left the house a minute earlier. Love V&H products!
So I should buy an FP3 is what you are saying...at least if I plan on adding a cam. That makes no sense that the FP3 can adapt for a cam but the FP4 won't.
Been looking for information about the FP4’s abilities. Can I adjust the red line rpm? Can I change the top speed as my factory setting is about 110. Not that I need to go faster but it would be nice to walk off from my buddies. If this can’t then I guess I need to buy a thundermax for stage 1 and top speed.

If you already have the fp3, this won't make your bike run any better or worse. It's just the replacement for the fp3 going forward.
