Stephanie Young word
This is so god damn true, being a fan from south america makes it so amazing
right???? props to them
FR ITS AMAZING
Adi Rotenberg I’ll k mi ok ok I’ll I’ll lll ok
As a studying engineer, being able to see this for my favourite band is an absolute treat
My aunt went to high school with her.
Same here, now I want them for all of themmmm
jack: i feel like that's the last thing you'll hear before you go to heaven
rian, immediately: you're going to heaven?
when Rian did his “drum talk” I FLIPPED you should talk like that all the time
Over the last months i, an almost 60 year old fan, have started to evolve from from an a "normal fan" that has you in a Spotiify play list, buys your vinyls and visits your concerts, to someone who sees that you actually care about EVERYTHING you do. Hats off guys....I do not wear them as I am too young for that, but man am I happy I stumbled upon your gift of music! Pleaser never ever stop doing what you do.
Welcome to the diehard fandom, haha. We are known as Hustlers. 😊💖 I'm autistic and ATL are my special interest so they're really important to me and they help me so much. I adore them. ❤️💕😊
Some Kind of Disaster - 2:35

Thank u
thank you! needed this today!
So lovely. This album is 2020's sunshine
"I said let them wait, let them earn it". Words to live by
LOVE THAT PAINTING JACK 🙄
I'm not even a music person and has zero idea about music theory and stuff but y'all managed to fascinate me this is amazing
As a musician and songwriter I DESPERATELY want more bands to do breakdowns of songs like this. There are just so many tidbits you can pick up on to try yourself, and even more so that you don't initially realize are there, but once you know, you hear it in the full song and you realize those bits are what really bring it all together.
I was listening to them talk about that one trembling chord in Melancholy Kaleidoscope and I was like huh that sound exactly like the intro to Leave it All Behind by Sleeping With Sirens so I looked it up and surely enough both were produced by Zach Cervini
Understanding the process and ideas behind each song really enhance the listening experience and makes me love this album even more!☀️💛
This is so sick, when a band can discect their songs in the mix and still blow themselves and others away with what they've written... That's fuckin' rad, my band are so inspired by everything y'all have ever done. From 'the three words' to 'sunshine' its all gold🙌
Alex, dear . . . WE WANT THAT UNRELEASED SONG!
Some masterclass shit right here.
Zack's bass lines can save the world.
Bravo on the other zack's producing.
I thoroughly enjoyed this walkthrough.
Cant wait for the next five.
P a r t 1 yeeeh
my favourite thing is all 4 of them just praising zack for the last 5 minutes of this video
I’m so excited about this. I love hearing more about the tracks, and this album has been keeping me going through everything in the world now. You guys are phenomenal, looking forward to more! ☀️
As someone currently learning how to do this, it makes me so excited to see the breakdown of such an amazing album. You guys are the best!
This was so sick to watch as a musician. I love when bands do a deep dive into the recording process, so I’m super stoked to see the next part of this!
I’m only 5 minutes in and I already love this
I had made peace with the fact that your sound had changed over the years, just like I myself and my music taste had. I pictured as us taking different paths at the crossroad. And I always stayed greatful for having walked the same path at all, but it was still somewhat sad. It felt like closing a chapter in my life. But to then take a turn and find the roads going parallel again... I can't express how happy that made me
Opening the album with Some kind of disaster was brilliant. The first chord struck and I was yeeted back 8 years, with all the excitement and love for your music I've had over the last decade crashing down on me again. I stumbled upon the album only bc I wanted to listen to an old song that wasn't in any of my playlists and I kind of half heartedly gave the album a try, those first notes were enough to pull me right back in.
I’m sorry but “yeeted back 8 years” is sending me
I'm so happy he mentioned Angels And Airwaves for the synths part. amazing
I showed my sister some kinda disaster she thought it sounded kinda like green day :D love it 😍
omg I’m trying not to scream !! ❤️
My mom always mixes up Green Day and ATL :D
Emily K. haha awesome
Really? They don't sound too similar, but maybe I've listened to both of them too much.
Tim Schowalter they sound a little similar but not overly similar of course not haha
we really don't appreciate all that goes into making just one song. we love you for it
this is so cool!! as someone who wants to make my own music and learn about how to get my own songs to flow well, it was really helpful! thank you guys so much for this album and this video, y'all are amazing :-)
The more Wake Up, Sunshine Content i get from them the more i like it! And I didnt think that was actually possible xD
Whenever I look at oversaturated Rian I remember that he‘s colourblind.
was anybody gonna tell me that Rian was colorblind or did I have to learn that from this comment myself
Michelle Radogna i‘m so sorry 😂 it explains a lot, tho
@@michelleradogna6721 I didn't know too. But that actually explains a lot
Lmaoo I totally forgot and he makes total sense now, he's the only one looking like an oompa loopa
Rian and his intense detail to the intricacies of drumming prove why is he such a good drummer and why he’s probably one of the best in pop/punk
All Time Low Is The Best Band Of 2020
Can we please talk about how WUS is EXACTLY what we needed in this time🖤 Thank you, guys, thank you.
As someone who wants to be a music producer/sounds engineer this was exactly what I needed from my all time favorite band that made me want to be a musician in the first place!!!
This is what WE need! ✌🌞💛
I love this album, it's one of the little sunshine I got in this quarantine
Thank you a lot guys
So glad to have new ATL content in these trying times 🤗
Is no one gonna talk about jacks painting canvas behind him 🤣 love you guys, this albums amazing 🖤
Cant sleep its past 4 am here in the Philippines. Love you guys. Since 2010 😥 you gave me hope ❤
favorite ☀️ quarantine ☀️ album ☀️ thank ☀️ you
I loved this, it's so interesting to hear the isolated vocals and instruments! Can't wait for the next part!
I know literally NOTHING about how music is made so this was kinda confusing but also so fucking interesting, thanks for doing this!
Omg!!! Loveeeee.. how is everyone doing? Hope everyone is safe, healthy and happy(mentally and spiritually)..
This was so interesting to watch, I’ve never felt this involved in an album before and it’s incredible! Really helps break that fourth wall and allow all of us into the process with you guys!! Plus I feel like I’m learning something!! Thank you for providing so much content in these difficult times, it honestly means the world 💛
Alex and Rian spending an hour trying really hard to make sure everyone gets the praise they deserve for every song is just the cutest thing ever
I’ve always loved hearing what the artist thinks versus what I picture in my head❤️☀️
the best thing about this record is just how well every single instrument is laid out. there’s no “weak link” in anyone’s parts. like in punk music it’s so easy for the drummer to just lay down a basic beat and then call it good. but rian definitely put deep thought into each beat and especially all of the fills for each song. but i also think zach’s bass is kind of the quiet hero on this record too. so many bassists may just do that basic root note thing with an occasional slide or something, but zach takes it to the next level on every single song and i have no hesitation saying it’s probably the best bass work i’ve heard in YEARS from anyone. just amazing work from everyone and it shows in this being such a great album.
Thank you so much ATL!!!! Life’s bearable with your music in it!!!! 😭😭😭
I genuinely hope ATL are super proud of this album, they were so creative with everything and spent so much time and energy creating a record both they and fans absolutely adore. ❤️
heard the intro (monsters) and got literal chills, that's never happened before but i'm not complaining 💕
This was such a good idea I am glad you guys did it!
I really want to thank you guys for doing this, it made me go back and listen to the record for the millionth time and it was even more magical being able to pick up on all the little things, you all really out did yourself with this 💖
It would be cool to see All Time Low react to all their old music, like the Three Words to Remember EP or the Party Scene
This album is perfection. It’s insane. Every track is perfect. I’ve listened to it non stop this year and it’s just beautiful.
This was so cool to see! You guys truly are amazing we love you 💕💕💕💕
Been waiting all day for this!! Thank you for giving me something to look forward to during quarantine 💛
Thank you guys for doing this, I just finished watching it and it was super cool to see how these songs were made. I can’t wait for the next one!
I love this, although I understand nothing of the music stuff, this album and this band has been one of the few things (or the only one) getting me and so many of us through quarantine and these difficult times. Thank you guys so much for doing all of these things even though you literally didn't have to do anything. It's nice to see how much you think about the fans. Stay safe ❤☀️
My music nerd heart is so happy!! I had lots questions about the composition of these songs and this answered so many of them!!!! Thanks y’all 💛☀️
Been waiting for something like this
Watching this and listening to Wake Up, Sunshine has given me inspiration to write stuff for the first time in months. Huge thanks to you all for the content, for the smiles, and for a flawless new album.
It's so interesting to hear everything behind making the album! Thanks for taking the time to make this for us guys ❤
I am in love with this album. I haven't had an album that I've listened to start to finish that brought me so much joy and make me feel. And this video just made me appreciate the album that much more.
My Ex got me obsessed with you guys. I really love your music.
this was so instresting, i loved it a lot. thank you guys for everything!
This is beautiful, music needs more of this
Great video guys!! Loving this new album too. Definitely one of my favorites of 2020 so far.
I love how part 1 wraps with the comment that Zach Merrick is the best 🥰
ATL is keeping me sane during quarentine and I'm so happy about it! I'm very much glad that I listen to you guys❤️❤️❤️
Dudes thank you so much for this. An insider of how you recorded the album
Thank you so much for doing this. I've been jamming with theses songs since it was released. Been trying to figure out Trouble Is on bass for a while. I heard those intricacies and have been beating my brain to figure them out. For the most part I got them all. It's that last little tid bit that Zack plays that just makes the song beautiful.
this band has gotten me through many a sleepless night and im honestly not surprised that they’re still amazing and uplifting come 2020 and even through all this mess of a year they have been able to keep us uplifted and happy💕 thank you all time low💕☺️
please do more videos like this!!! ughhh its so inspiring to create music
So excited! Let's go!
From an artist / fans point of view I found this really insightful for creating my own music, it's cool to hear about the stories and origins from where your songs are made and created. It's given me some fuel for thought during lockdown so thanks guys. Can't wait for part 2!
THIS MADE MY DAY AHHHHH
serotonin boost!!!
Trouble Is is the jam: Undeniable fact
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPYYY UGHH 💓
最高です!!
i could not survive without these videos
That sound from Melancholy Kaliedoscope's first verse...I cannot listen to that without hearing SWS' Leave It All Behind, and it literally sounds like the exact same sound
Edit: after looking at the liner notes for How It Feels To Be Lost, Zakk Cervini produced, engineered, and mixed Leave It All Behind, so it probably is the exact same sound, since he worked on both tracks
I am so glad I’m not the only one that heard this!!
Omg YES I noticed that the first time I heard it to. I knew that Zakk produced this and HIFTBL so I kinda just assumed it was a thing he normally did
Honestly, you guys keep me sane these days. 💕
This is great I love this so so much. So did my mom.
I love this! I have listened to ATL music so many times that I’m now picking up little things in the background. Little nuggets that make me rewind a bit, Hey! The whole thought process behind the nuggets. What drew me to ATL was certain wording in a song, my favorite is, I think myself deservin of….a little time off, forgive me, I’m trying to find, my calling my calling at night, etc. not just lyrics but the instruments doing a weird fabulousnesses. I will be listening until I’m old and gray! ❤
I love this! This record saved me from severe work burn out, the pandemic, a friend dying, my boss saying “ I know you’re retiring in 2 weeks, I’m not ready for it, (but I am so ready for it!)” I love ATL, their style brings me joy, my brain is lit up!
Every song is incredible, it’s fun to watch this video now and then, the process is magical, mysterious, I love it, anything ATL does is top notch. I’m glad you’re all young, you will outlive me and continue to make the music I so love.
I've been recording a cover of clumsy in logic and hearing all your thoughts on the album and seeing it all broken down has really helped
Can’t focus because of Jack’s painting in the background 😂😶
It lowkey scared me at first.
Lol it's just boobs
Of course it's boobs😂
It's being very nice enlightening and such a great learning on how to record and edit. Thanks so much for that! As a producer I'm very, very thankful
do i understand all this musical jargon etc.? no. but will i enjoy this thoroughly and support my bois? yes. 😌
BEST ALBUM OF 2020!!!! CANT WAIT TO SEE U AT SSF NEXT YEAR ☀️💛
lets learn
Thank you so much for sharing this!!
I juste looooove this Track by Track videos !

iloveyou guyssss thank u for keeping me alive up to this date 😭😭
I don't know how much longer I can wait for part 2
Glad they wrote trouble is. it was so catchy and one of my faves. Guts and so long soldier were my faves too
I want to see this for LYR
i'm so glad you all forced alex to write a fast song on the day you wrote melancholy kaleidoscope, that song slapped its way into my heart immediately
This is incredible! Do this for more albums if you can!
Yaaas
