Looks tidy, usual far to get reasonable gaps, having done many door repairs I have a few long bolts with the heads cut off and slots in I screw in the hinge plates to slide the door on saves trying to find the holes in the floating a pillar plates
i like the idea of your hinge bolts, ill be getting the big guns out on the next video, power port. see if I can push the post over 4/5 mm is all I need

Nice work, the paint for the door looks great. boot lid is much like mine on the inside, very flakey 👍🏻
