    Naming bears "Misha" is a VERY Russian tradition, for some reason.

      @@atoriusv5070 "Misha" is a diminutive of a "Medved", so it's not exactly a "Bear", more like "Little Bear", or "Cute Bear".

    В первый раз вижу эту девушку но мне нравится активность её чата они очень забавно высмеивают стереотипы о нас. Если кому то да, у некоторых и вправду есть "домашние медведи" если они живут за городом но таких людей маловато и наши медведи и вправду могут пить водку я не знаю какого черта они это умеют. Единственный раз когда я видел медведя в живую он был уже приготовлен и подан на стол.
    This is the first time I see this girl, but I like the activity of her chat room, they are very funny mocking stereotypes about us. If anyone does, some do have "pet bears" if they live out of town, but there are few of them and our bears can really drink vodka I don't know why the hell they can. The only time I saw a bear in person, it was already cooked and served on the table. I translated it through a translator now because I am too lazy to write in English, but I hope it was understandable.

      As the people above me said, but also, a quick google search brought up someone who rode a sloth bear as a kid in India. They said the bear's mouth was muzzled and the tamer was holding it by a rope at all times. Though it should be noted that it's something that someone on the internet said. And as they noted, animal protection laws have gotten stricter.

    • @barsni4779
      @barsni4779 4 года назад +1

      I just googled it and it seems like it's technically illegal to keep a whale, poisonous snake, crocodile, bear or tiger unless it's for treatment, rehabilitation or nurturing. Maybe there is a loophole somewhere here, but either way you must be qualified for the task and notify federal services. It's also possible all those pet bears were tamed before current law came to power and I don't know something.
      Then again, there are several known cases of keeping bears for prolonged periods of time (decades) with zero cases of aggression towards human. Bears are quite intelligent animals, so it's possible to come to understanding with it.

    • @xarin42
      @xarin42 4 года назад

      @@barsni4779 "nurturing" seems pretty vague. besides that, it might be surprisingly easy to get the qualifications as well as hard to check the keepers.
