This was great, thanks! I thought I had a terrible ear, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Can see how more of this will help...it's a skill to learn like anything else. Really enjoying your content.
I feel like am seeing things in shades of grey and have no sense of any color. I need to learn to listen for the right rings each interval contains. I’ll practice with this video. Hope you don’t mind if I record this video and cut it up to practice hearing it at Radom. I will learn to listen!
Wait a second, aren't Intervals usually counted with the Tonic being the 1st step? Or are there two lines of thought for this? By the way, thanks for the videos, your articulation and knowledge are on point for much of it for sure (Not saying you're wrong about other areas, I don't know enough to say for sure that you're 100% correct). Anyway, I stumbled upon your channel and I do really like it, so I don't want to come across as not liking it, but I will ask questions if I'm unsure of something. :)
Great video mam but make some video in last application of interval training in finding notes in real song I mean to say application of all eight part in real songs thanku
I have to admit I'm a little lost on this one. I've always followed WHWWHWW for minor, so I'm confused how to arrive at a minor 2nd when both major and minor have a whole step from 1st to 2nd.
Great observation and I recognize that it's confusing. The WHWWHWW that you are following is the minor SCALE pattern. When we're talking about INTERVALS being major or minor, it doesn't follow that. Just because a C to Db is a minor interval, doesn't mean that a C to Db is IN the C minor scale. I would begin by remembering how many half steps each interval with its modifier is. Later on, it makes more sense when you get experience with all the major and minor keys.
mam i have a question please answer it in dicatating melody f song i can only recognize first two note after second i cant able to recognise how can i listen more than two intervals in real song it seems very difficult pls help how i listen connected interval
Hi there! Two things: 1) Trust this process. The series is 8 videos long and I believe you will reach your goals if you continue to practice. But it can't always be rushed and it may take more practice than these videos give you. 2) If you're trying to figure out the melody of a song, figure out the first interval by singing it. Once you have that, sing the next interval. It's step by step at first, and then you'll find you can figure out songs by ear much easier after lots of practice. I love your passion! Keep at it, and good luck!
As always, very clear and great content. Thank you!

I love when that happens! 😃 And yes, it's a skill like anything else that needs to be learned step-by-step. Thanks for your comment!

You can build an interval from any note. The bottom note is counted as 1. In they key of C, C-E is a 3rd, D-F is a 3rd, E-G is a 3rd and so on.
Thanks!
Thank you! 🎵

Hello! Yes, that is coming in future lessons (it's an 8-part series).
