The Tarot Mucha was my first tarot deck. I love the images, the mucha style is beautiful. When I saw the deck online I fell in love and I agree, im very sensitive and reading with this deck is so pleasant.
Your connection to your special deck is how I feel about the Cat People deck. It was my first when I was 13, Ive always always had a special connection with cats, Ive bought like 3 copies of this deck.
My first deck was the wild unknown and I agree that it feels cold but yet I still feel Connected to it. Dark energy but never in hasn’t been in a negative way for me
I thought I was the only one who felt a small collection with strong bonds is best... so thank you! By the way, could you make a video about doing readings combining tarot and oracle cards? : ) Just an idea!
Hi! I really like your taste in decks. I've found that the decks that you have recommended are the ones that I use the most and really love. Thank you so much for sharing your collection :))
I just got the Smith Waite borderless tarot deck as my first deck & I feel the same way as you do! I don't think I can ever love any other deck again! :) It has such a clean, grounding energy and I just feel like holding the deck in my hands all the time!
You should look into the Yogic Path Oracle, if you are interested in India gods, wisdom, practices, sacred knowledge. I've been working with it since Jan 1st and love it!! Thanks for sharing your lovely collection. I added a few of these decks to my wishlist. Blessed be xx
i watched this video already but i'm watching again because upon reviewing my own tarot/oracle collection, I realized I only like THREE decks! 1) standard rider waite (i agree with you there!) 2) a deck I made by writing quotes on a deck of playing cards ...each quote and card corresponds to a minor arcana card in tarot minus the 4 "pages" 3) the ancient goddess deck I discovered because of YOU!!! i also have the wild unknown, and i don't really connect to it either i have like 5 other tarot/oracle decks and i don't feel MUCH of a connection to them either i'm looking for another deck to add to the collection so i'm rewatching your video lol i like your taste because i feel like a lot of cards out there that other people introduce are a little kitsch...
I'm glad we like similar things, I hope it will be easier for you to choose from :) I investigate soooo much before buying a new deck, it has to be perfect both aesthetically and spiritually!
The way you talk about The Wild Unknown - the coldness - I feel it even if I'm just watching videos of it. Totally understand that! Same with Visconti. However, The Enchanted Tarot & Mucha Tarot are so beautiful ❤
Thank you for your beautiful cards showing us. Could i know the name of the tarot deck before you recommend Enchanted tarot pls? I am quite curious about that cards. Wish you all the best. Love from Viet Nam. ❤💐
I really like seeing a tarot collection video by someone who is more selective of their decks. Most tarot tube videos that I watch are people who have hundreds of decks, which is fine, to each their own, but it makes me feel like I also need to have hundreds of decks, even though realistically you can't use and build a connection with hundreds of decks. So, your video makes me feel that pressure a lot less.
Your collection is beautiful! I'm still learning on my first deck, The Crow tarot. I am very fond of birds, and that one really called to me. I checked it out online first and the imagery brought me to tears (not happy, not sad, just knowing). I can't help but notice the Dali♡ book on your shelf, have you seen the Dali deck?
I love The Crow Tarot, actually thinking of purchasing it! And yes, I know and love Dali's Tarot, but it's crazy expensive, though I've heard they are planning to bring it on a mass production, maybe already did?
@@nomadtarot I highly recommend it! Such a beautiful deck, and very expressive. I don't think they've mass produced Dali Tarot yet, it's still pretty pricey, but I really hope they will soon.
I do not think you were harsh about the Wild Unknown Tarot. It has become the either you like it (and if you do you go all out) or do not like it (and often really do not like it, do not connect). Once it got picked up by the mainstream and got pretty on Instagram, seems to have taken off (and deity help you if you are one who is not into it). I have it, and I am lukewarm about it. At this point, have not used it, but I am willing to give it a fair shake before deciding to keep it for good or not. We'll see. I do appreciate the art. I am glad I was able to get the Cat People Tarot before it went out of print; it is an intriguing deck and world of its own. A very nice collection overall. Thanks for sharing it. Paz y amor.
Thank you very much for sharing your card collection…. Your video inspired me to make a video of my collection and posting it to my channel. I just subscribed to your channel so I can watch more often….
I bought it for the aesthetic due to popularity but I ended up connecting to it so damn well it surprised me. The symbolism isn't obvious for beginners but it's definitely there and if you know what to look for it just beams into your eyes. I have a classic Waite-Smith tarot and I've always hated it. The classic imagery isn't for everyone. I started with Legacy of the divine tarot by Ciro Marchetti and it is based heavily on the Waite Smith while looking actually pretty (unlike the Waite Smith tarot) and I love that deck with all my heart. Sure the wild unknowns is prettier but I'll never connect with a deck more than with that one by CM. Tldr Waite Smith isn't for everyone, wild unknown isn't easy to start with but can be amazing if you connect with it, everyone has their own preferences ;)
Wonderful explanations of the deck energy. I bought *The Fountain Tarot* because a reader said it was a very mental, logical deck, air element energy, that she used mainly for her male clients. It really is, but then of course you have to *connect* with it as a reader as well 😐 Yeah... I forgot about that. My energy is more soft and kind of like that art nouveau deck you showed, *Tarot Mucha* . Also it has that Barcelona "before" type of bohemian feel to it 📿🦜🎺💼🍇🖌📚🌤☂️🎷🦚✒🧮🚡🎨🏮📻🌼🧩🎻🛴🌛🦎🔮🐚🌟🧳🎪🌿🦀🏵 I'm also thinking about getting the *Ethereal Visions* deck, I think it might be more suited to my personal energy. I also *never* connected to that *Wild Unknown* deck. It has too much black lines on a white background, which I feel is rather *harsh* energy. I do like to dig deep, because of my scorpio sun, but then again I have Venus as chart ruler and a soft feminine cancer moon, so I like a deck to also visually appeal as well. I do have an oddball called *Japaridze* tarot, it's not for the everyday spread but I do pick it up in times of wanting or needing the nitty-gritty. I do love decks that get straight to the point and do not sugarcoat things. But then I also have *Distant Past* tarot when I just love a sweet deck that is filled with hope and promise.
Sorry for my late response! I love your choices, feels like we have similar style. Men love the Fountain Tarot, I have worked with it and although I don't personally connect with it too much, many clients do a lot. Ethereal Visions and Japaridze are also on my list too! I'm also looking into Crow's Tarot, so so lovely, maybe you'd like it too :)
I am new to tarot. I got my first deck when I was 14 but didn't understand or had the patience to learn it. Now, when I picked up tarot again and really want to learn I realize that that deck doesn't speak to me at all. I got another deck "wheel of the year" and I love it. The downside is that they are quite easy damaged, so I was thinking about buying plastic covers for the cards. What are your thoughts about that? I see that you dont have plastic cover on your decks. Do you think they will be damaged in few years? I am afraid also of loosing the good feeling that I get when I hold the cards as they are. I learn a lot from your videos and it's really interesting to see experienced persons =)
I love your collection style. I tend to gravitate more to the traditional imagery as well and love my Rider Waite tarot, the first deck I used. I own the Golden Universal Tarot with is gorgeous and the Golden Art Nouveau that I cannot wait to use. The Tarot Mucha is on my list of Tarot that I would like to but next. What are your thoughts on the Dreams of Gaia and the Vice Versa Tarot? As far as Oracle cards I only have the Gaia Oracle and Im quite impressed how spot on it has been and after watching your video I might want to work with the Angels and Ancestors or the Prophet, I cant decide.
My friend gave me my first tarot deck on Samhain. It had been gifted to her and she never connected to it. It's a Hermetic Tarot; i never see anyone working with one! I connected with the deck immediately and it always gives me very accurate and incisive self reading, but it's also a very steep learning curve. Anyone know of anyone who reads with a Hermetic Deck?
Your collection is really unique to you. I had to have The Enchanted Tarot as it is very affordable and very romantic as you put it! I would personally recommend Archetype Cards to add to your collection as it can provide so much substance in personal readings and that for others.
You can have one deck or 100 deck it doesn't make a difference in the reading and knowledge. Some like to collect some are picky, i think it's great that everyone is different :)
It's always interesting seeing other people's deck choices and favourites. I discovered early on that I don't particularly connect to realistic or earthy decks and I do quite enjoy animal decks so for me the Wild Unknown hit the right spot. I can definitely see how it can be hard to connect with though. I had a very similar problem with the Fountain Tarot which I thought I'd love and work with forever, but the moment opened the box I knew I would never connect with it. 😥 I wonder, seeing that you liked the Gill Tarot, have you ever tried the Thoth? It's an all time favourite of mine so I wonder what you'd think of it. Great video by the way! 😊👍
i have the wild unknown too and i don't use it at all lol ; i got it when i started out bc that's the one that was suggested to me but i don't even find it beautiful. i feel like it's tacky. and yes, i feel a cold energy when i use it too..
What a beautiful collection! I loved this video so much, cards are such a personal thing and it's always so interesting to hear what pulls people to certain imagery or "systems". I have a question though, what are your thoughts on the Thoth Tarot deck? Did you ever work with it?

I believe that tarot has its origins in ancient Egypt. I bought the rider Waite years ago. It was a starters pack, but I never connected to it. Which is such a waste, because I never learned it. Now I really want to learn tarot and oracle. There is a planet of Cat/ lion people. One of the extraterrestrials.

No fan of The Wild Unknown either. Too black for my taste and the drawings are not inviting either. I feel like the images don't really carry the card's energies; they mostly depict the meaning very sketchily. I liked it initially since it seems like a very modern and 'fresh' deck but it lacks depth tbh.
As a beginner tarot reader this is so helpful and beautiful! 🧚♀️
I thought I was the only one who felt that way about the wild unknown tarot. I even tried to use it at a later time and I never felt connected to it.
