Good question! It’s definitely a nostalgia thing I feel. People want what they grew up around as a general rule. But there is always exceptions to the that rule. I think in another 20 years there will be a lot more of these classics standing still, not running. Museum pieces almost. I could be wrong though…
@@MovingOurWorld Yeah, I can imagine. Me personally, I think some are still really cool, and I would totally own one - except can't afford it. They will never get cheaper, and only people who'll be able to afford them are already well off collectors.

Love Andrew's comments, "if it was a moped show" and "theres a dog!" Sums it up, nice cars but all our shows are cookie cutter stuff sometimes.
The commodore looks like a vl and the straight 6 would've been an RB30E
Or RB30ET
Or a v8 but that one would have been a RB30E due to the fuel injection badge on the guard
MKII jag came in a higher spec' as a Daimler with a sweet little V8.
Nice stuff. Thanks for that. Always appreciate more info from the comments! 🤙
Do you think these ~1960's American classics have peaked? I mean they're still massively popular, but maybe not so much with millenials anymore?
