    Thank you so much
    I followed the instructions step by step and it worked very well
    I replaced my original radiator with nrf radiator, it costed me about 120$ instead of 350$ if I needed machinist to do it for me
    Your video is very detailed and covers everything.
    Thank a lot man👍👍❤️

    Informative and detailed video, good feeling when it's all done. Thanks for sharing. Sadly repairing a modern car isn't simple, changing the starter motor on my xsara picasso took 2.5 hours just to remove it.

    very useful video. I did the same operation today. The antifreeze was running on the thermocouple and I had no place to work without turning the front side down. I put an oring gasket on the thermocouple. It took about 4 hours

      Great job! it is just a shame you have to remove the front for a 'simple' job like that.

    Great video! But there is an easier way, which I have tried, to support the whole assembly so you can replace either the ac condenser or the radiator. After you remove the crash metal bumper you can use 3 long bolts M8 on either side, to thread into the holes from the bolts holding that crash bumper, and then you can slide the whole assembly ( frame+ radiator and condenser) forward(after you disconnect the radiator hoses). So you don't have to remove the frame holding the radiator and condenser, you just suport it on those 6 bolts( I used 15 cm long bolts, 6 inch). After you support it, you can easily access whatever you want to dismantle. Keep up the good work. All the best!

    • @TheDutchGarage
      @TheDutchGarage 3 года назад +1

      That's a way of doing it indeed. They called this "service mode" you have special tools for this but long bolt will work fine also.

    Great video thanks. I have a problem with the heat inside of the car. When I start my car I can't lower the inside temperature. After awhile it goes cold or vice versa. I don't know what the problem is. Do you know if this is common on these cars? And if so. What do I have to replace for fix. Thanks

    Hi there. How did you disconnect the wiring plug from the thermo-switch at 9:06 please? I'm really struggling to disconnect it? Also can I do it from the top without being under the car? I just need to replace the switch as fan doesn't work (checked the fuses already).

      Hi, the best thing you can do is practice with one of the other connectors. you need to lever the back lip to get it of. But they can be a real pain.

    Hallo, I have polo 1.2 2004 9n, I have a low engin pressure 81 psi. Do you think it worth to fix this issue or to put a used engine?

    • @TheDutchGarage
      @TheDutchGarage 5 лет назад +1

      That is a hard one. What I would do is do a leak down test of the engine. If the valves are leaking than i would pull the head find a replacement or let the valves redone. A full engine rebuild can be very expensive and sometimes it is just a lost cause that the blok is cracked. Most of the time it is better to find a replacement engine. Good luck in your quest my gabber.

      You can put the front end in a so called " service mode" but still it is still the same job and the same work. VW isn't the only one guilty of this. But still it is just frustrating. Thanks for watching!
