I remember tearing into one of these car radios 📻 as a child. I think it was late 1983. It had such COOL looking circuitry on the inside, but I could not catch anything on it. I spent hours 😪 trying to get a radio station 🚉. While doing my experimentation on this radio, I didn't know that I was burning it up. I was using my dad's car battery charger to power it. The smell of burning electronics was filling the house. Although the smell wasn't too bad, I tried the radio again the next day. I guess my experimentation proved too much. I'd burned 🔥 out my dad's battery charger. My experimentation was at an end, but my dad wasn't mad. PLEASE keep these GREAT car radio videos coming!! Your friend, Jeff.

The reason the caps read higher is because they have a high internal resistance that throws the reading off but your Peak tester is not showing the resistance so you need a better tester.
