Man, I haven't been at Willy since 91, it was best UPT base in the world. I got some good memories. (but taxing in/out during the summer was painful)

Awesome view of the mountains east of Mesa! I often look at Superstition and imagine flying by to view the tops.

It really is a dynamic change in 60 miles

Woke up to this. Great way to start the day. But I have a question: what kind of work do you do that gives you the flexibility to make multiple day trips? I'm a doctor and I don't have time to scratch my butt, let alone take a 2 or 3 day trip... especially without my wife (cuz she definitely ain't flying anywhere). Just considering my next job applications.

Great to hear that I made your day. I am a pilot for an airline. So that gives me about 50% of my days off. But it is still always a struggle to arrange 4-5 off in a row to safely complete these ferry trips.

@@Jugheadf15 Yeah, that explains it. My brother in law flew 777s for Fed Ex and was always (in jest) pointing out his generous free time. I'm glad for you - you have to be gone a lot so I'm glad you have time at home too.

@@martinlynn3699 Most airlines, especially ones flying international have more time off. We just have a terrible scheduling/QOL contract that really limits us.
