As a Michigander I used to get kinda jealous hearing all the stories a buddy of mine would tell of going to Scott H. Biram shows. We need that up here.
First time I heard this song was about 45 minutes outside of Raton, NM on Hwy 64.Beautiful song and a beautiful part of the country. Must've played it 10 times in a row. Cant wait to see you at Jovita's, Scott!
LOVE the studio, the simple setup, and the fantastic sound quality of voice and guitar. VERY nice! Thanks Scott, and thanks to Le Grenier for this gem.
i wish all of you could see him live. it is a awsome experence. hes so down to earth i drank like 6 pbrs while having a conversation with him about mtn. dew
Some day Some how I’m gonna make it go away I been chasin’ these same old dreams around Seems like forever and a day Slippin’ down an old road again Seems like I been this way before This same old story’s like an old broken record All the edges of my memories are worn Steppin’ out And fallin’ down Through all the misery and sin I’m sinkin’ fast in this old quicksand ground Wish I could remember What I had to do to live Just like I did when I still had a handful of friends Hey! On the dawn There’s a brand new horizon It couldn’t be any worse than yesterday Still in your heart It’s just one more tomorrow You gotta keep on beatin’ down the day I keep starin’ up at the judge Who says he won’t let me find my way Hey! Steppin’ out And fallin’ down Through all the feel good and pain You take me in and you, spit me out Drag it out just like a ball and chain Would you believe some of my so called best friends Don’t even know my name Yeah! Some day Some how I’m gonna make it go away I been chasin’ These same old dreams around Seems like forever and a day
I had only heard his music on the radio until now. His album cuts are always scratchy and ruff. I wasn't sure if he could sing or not but this video convinced me.
When someone writes a song and it fits u and u feel that way , thats when u know they are a true artist . When it feels like its torn from the pages of ur life , its real !! Not like the rest of the trash that other people keep puttin out these days .
Whilst I was listening, I was wondering myself a stupid question, but in this session, is it there a backing track with a bass guitar playing behind his live show.? Because I live very far from the US and I really fall in love with Scott's music. And maybe a little more with his lyrics that many people can feel their own
You know how there's some things that... It's not written down anywhere necessarily, but you just know it to be true... Well... That's the way you end a goddamn song sirs and maddams
Fuck, I didn't know " the Iceman" Chuck Liddell played guitar! Yeah you bastards better click "like" or this guy'll take you out with an overhead right!! One punch KO.

Some day
Some how
I’m gonna make it go away
I been chasin’ these same old dreams around
Seems like forever and a day
Slippin’ down an old road again
Seems like I been this way before
This same old story’s like an old broken record
All the edges of my memories are worn
Steppin’ out
And fallin’ down
Through all the misery and sin
I’m sinkin’ fast in this old quicksand ground
Wish I could remember
What I had to do to live
Just like I did when I still had a handful of friends
Hey!
On the dawn
There’s a brand new horizon
It couldn’t be any worse than yesterday
Still in your heart
It’s just one more tomorrow
You gotta keep on beatin’ down the day
I keep starin’ up at the judge
Who says he won’t let me find my way
Hey!
Steppin’ out
And fallin’ down
Through all the feel good and pain
You take me in and you, spit me out
Drag it out just like a ball and chain
Would you believe some of my so called best friends
Don’t even know my name
Yeah!
Some day
Some how
I’m gonna make it go away
I been chasin’
These same old dreams around
Seems like forever and a day

Hi... there was no backing track for this session. One shot, only scott + his guitar (for the guitar sound : 2 static mics + line out)
