there will never be another bts. they have completely changed the music industry, and had such great influence. they still do now, even though they're on hiatus.
I think it’s incredible and so awesome that BTS’ discography is basically a journey through life. I've been a metalhead, hip hop, jazz and blues fan all my life, and I fell in love with BTS when I discovered Rain in 2014, in an illegal download music app just searching songs from the genre. I tried to listen to other kpop artists, but honestly, with the exception of a few songs, BTS were the only ones I found myself being a fan. For me, Rain is till this day, one of my fav songs from them and Dark and Wild one of the albums I love the most. Danger was honestly a new door opening for me, one of the first artist I've listened that have made a rock/hip hop fusion. And I could say something about all of the songs, but I'll just say It's what made me ARMY, so let's leave it at that. Love your videos btw. Love from Spain and srry for any typos I could have made.
When the world gets too heavy, I listen to this album. Because being a teenager in lust and love makes what I’m going thru kind of insignificant. Because when you’re young & going thru growing up, you think it won’t get better & it couldn’t get worse. Being old, I know better but sometimes I need a reminder that whatever I’m going thru will pass. Dark & Wild is a small masterpiece. There is so much *good* music here. The guys co-wrote lyrics (the rap line each wrote their own). It is their first full album; their earlier releases were EPS. D & W foreshadows the incredible quality of their following albums.
THIS is bts! Always has been, and a reason why we love them so much! Each time they show us something new, unexpected side of themselves, they are genre bending and always growing
'The most beautiful moment in life' was a leap in the sense of their music style and image as a group when compared to their work prior to it. This album was really angsty af 😁(have you seen the cover?). As you further go back the timeline you would also notice that the rap line was more present in the songs as compared to the vocal line because they started off the a hip-hop group and their rapping was one of the main attractions of their music. The vocal line's skills have developed and improved sooo much in the past few years. They have come long way and I am so proud of all of them💜 Thanks you so much for the reaction. You are always such a joy to watch. I am looking forward to more BTS reaction!🤗 Have a great day💜

OMG I KNEW YOU'D LOVE RAIN!! when you said Danger was so far your favorite, i was like, "wait until you listen to Rain!"😆 Rain is one of the songs that never left my all-time favorite song by them. it stays on the top 10 up until now. i love the way they can make me feel, as you said, like i'm there, feeling the rain, seeing the grey surroundings, and listening to their words. it really does make everything seem and feel like andante. and the "this is not BTS" comment took me out😆 that's how BTS used to be. their root is hip hop. for the older ARMY, the shocking point were when they released 1) The Most Beautiful Moment in Life era (since they started to show their softer side), and 2) Love Yourself era (i mean, this one is obvious😅)

War of hormone is my first song of BTS in 2014 and I instantly fell in love in the woled of BTS. Can't believe that this is one of the album that they work the hardest but didn't get the results they wanted. Suga talk a lot about this era, he even contemplated of running away due to the stress but didn't. He said he is surprised that no one actually trying to quit the group at that point.
YESSS!! I’ve been waiting for this video for so long and I’m very happy you’ve decided to come this far into their discography!!! I absolutely adore and miss the clean sound and production of this album, so many catchy gems 🙂💜
I've never known anyone to listen to these albums backwards, and when you first mentioned that that's what you were going to be doing I was very unsure (though very, very curious) I am so glad you done it like this. You're so music focused that you have been able to do it, and still be able to appreciate the forward growth of their thoughts/lyrics/musical maturity, which I was afraid may be lost in this obscure, yet interesting, way of discovering their discography. I'm curious if, when you're finished with their album listens, will you be doing a 'forward' recap? As in, a video where you listen to their 'title track/s' from each album, in order, and give a final review on their growth? I think it would be an extremely interesting video to watch from you. Much love 💜💜 Oh and incase you didn't see, J-Hope has released a full length version of 'blue side' (I've just gone back and watched your reaction to his hopeworld album) so yeah, you'll probably be stoked about that. You probs saw, but I wanted to make sure, coz I saw how much you loved the first version 🥰

Yeah, Dark & Wild can be very overwhelming when you're used to their newer stuff haha, but still is such a great album. I'm so glad that you liked Hip hop phile, I love that song and is sooo underrated. Btw great reaction as always ^^
This album is sooooooooo good, one of my favorites for sure. I love the bops, the R&B, the playfulness and intensity of the tracks but the lyrics as always are also amazing. One thing I appreciate is how they experimented with this one, their vocals are always doing something different and we got a lot of variety in it without being completely different that would not match the vibe. Welcome to baby BTS era where we have JK rapping, V growls and grit vocals, and Rapline sass with awesome critics and diss. Their projects captured their growth over the years, starting with all the angst and romance from their teenage school years, going through the growing pains, and then developing themselves through the struggles until they reach maturity in the most recent albums. It is a journey!
I think it's cool how the fans come up with ideas about BTS' colors for each of them. There are those who feel that the real BTS is a hip hop group, there are fans who feel that BTS is best suited to R&B. And there are those who feel that slow songs with touching lyrics are BTS. This is very interesting because it makes us always enthusiastically waiting for their album.
yeah, the whole "real BTS" thing has popped up quite a few times... I thought it was quite funny when he said "this isn't BTS", because this is what they more so originally were before switching up their style w HYYH and even recently with their English tracks. pretty much ever new "era" of BTS includes a change in sound to some degree, and even though there's always people that will say "I miss the old BTS" or "this isn't BTS", I feel like they've proven by now that they're simply capable of having a very varied discography and going into essentially every genre and be able to pull it off. I love it! and which artist with a 10-year-career won't have a change in sound? it's part of the fun!
@@tova1412 Precisely the thing that I like about BTS is that !!. They didn't change genres just because of trends or because their history was originally a hip hop group. You could say RM and the rap line had the chance to shine more in the past, but till this day they are still mainly responsible for the sound of the group. RM does most of the lyrics and a lot of the melodies, Hobi and Suga also write lyrics, and polish a lot of their main tracks. They have all produced songs too. Young Forever is RM's and it makes me sad he said recently he didn't want to produce anymore. RM is my fave in terms of solo work, although I adore the rap line overall. He was more or less a polished raper even before they debuted but I love to see him discover himself through different styles and sound in all his solo projects. it's been 9 years since it was released, and 7 years since I first listened to it, but 'Rain' is still definitely in my top 10 when it comes to BTS songs. you're right, it is THAT good!
dont worry 24/7 heaven wasn't my fav too from the get go but their content editing team kept using this song in their DVDs and behind the scenes clips that eventually it became a no skip song for me

Where did RM say he doesn't want to produce anymore? Did he say producing and writing or just producing?
@@JasmineDragonXYL he said he had quit producing in one of the Indigo promotional videos but I don't remember which... He claims he's not good at it which is ridiculous, but he has time to change his mind. He's still very involved with sound engineering and the process overall but I guess he meant producing a track from scratch.
@@JasmineDragonXYL He has always said he enjoys more writing lyrics, when he said he doesn't enjoy producing he was talking as in making beats, mastering songs... We can compare to SUGA, he really enjoys producing, and even does for other artists, while RM much rather write lyrics and also does for other artists
My first introduction to BTS was this album. It sucked me in that rabbit hole. Never got out of it since.
rapper jungkook was an iconic era! i love when he returns on stage sometimes! like when he rapped RM’s part in daeng hehe
9:29 YOU GET IT! I LOVE THAT YOU GET IT THANK YOU
LETS GOOOOO, ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS
War of hormones was my introduction to BTS. I'm hooked ever since 💜
Justice for War of Hormone!
Rain 진짜 명곡
Hip hop phile is one of my favorites, oh my goodness! I love j hopes rap there and the chorus is just so smooth. I also love blanket kick/embarrassed! I love the story in the lyrics. Feels very much like young love. Finally, 😂 I had no idea “can you turn off your cell phone?” Was a convo between them as friends haha
loved your reaction. Not many people do album reviews anymore. Just a heads up So 4 More and 2nd Grade are two different songs.
War of hormone is one of my fav songs from them. It was also one of the first songs I heard. I didn't look up what the lyrics meant though...until today lol
Dark and wild is wild indeed
i came back to this reaction, i forgot it was so hilarious 😭😭
Danger was the first BTS song I ever heard....ah, memories. Dark and Wild will always have a special place in my heart.
Another rain enthousiast! Alltime favorite song from them
honestly top 5 title tracks from this DANGER..was amazing and cellphone is EASILY one of my fav bsides!
V's voice, that's why we see V as a tiger and teddy bear
rain is def one of the top 5 bts songs for me
sir, I HAVE BEEN WAITING.
I just discovered your channel and subbed you up, I mainly talk rock vinyl on my channel but I enjoy many genres, thanks for sharing the great music info, Peace!
I love this album. "Danger" is one of my faves, even now.
We're all still not over what SUGA said on that cypher... 😅
Especially bc I think it's the line where he does a hip thrust when he performs it.. and he's on a world tour right now where he is performing that verse 😆🥰🥰🎉
Best reaction to albums I have heard - love your breakdown of the songs on Dark & Wild.
Dark and Wild is my top favorite album. It was fun listening and seeing your reactions. LET ME KNOW and DANGER are my two favorites. It's a shame that BTS received so much negative about this album. Suga produced LET ME KNOW. Jimin's high note at the end just takes me away. I will listen to this song on repeat over and over. I will never get over DARK and WILD!!!
it's been 9 years since it was released, and 7 years since I first listened to it, but 'Rain' is still definitely in my top 10 when it comes to BTS songs. you're right, it is THAT good!
Danger has a remix- Danger (Mo-Blue-Mix) ft. Thanh. Thanh is an Aussie/Vietnamese singer
Yess this made my day one of my favorite album of theirssss🙏
18:32 exactlyyy im so proud of hobi and all the boys!
AAAAAAAAAAA??? its been 2 days since ive requested it omg im soooo hype
dont worry 24/7 heaven wasn't my fav too from the get go but their content editing team kept using this song in their DVDs and behind the scenes clips that eventually it became a no skip song for me
Bts is just one of a kind, there's nobody like them.
Ah, yes, we have officially gone far enough back to hit rapper Jungkook era! XD
Finally! Found another person who loves Rain T_T That song is my favourite from this album😍
OMG MY FAV REACTOR REACTING TO MY FAV BTS ALBUM
I also love Rain a lot in this album
Finally! My favorite BTS album. 😂
