Find yourself a big old set of long tooth diamond Harrows & go over everything a couple times. It will do a better job then spring tooth harrows. Then wait for some hot fall weather put the the big HEAVY HARROWS to it to break it up & you should get smooth hay & seed bed. I grew up close to Indian Head always worked for us.
Hey BP and CP. Good thing I'm not the only one having cluster f$%k day!!😂 I assume you are putting the triticale on the barley field. Wouldn't hurt to run the harrows over for all the time it would take. Less hassles with seeding.
If you are zero tilling that grain in, I’d give it a quick harrowing. If you are discing it first, then I wouldn’t worry about it. Congrats on the new grand baby !! 👍🎉🍺🍺🍺🍻👍
Good morning CP and BP ☕☕☕ Loading trucks on ramp/dovetail trailers is a beyoche'!! Lots of places here won't let you across their scales if you aren't a customer.. Congratulations on the new grandbaby!!!!!😊
Been listening to rain since 4 this morning. Doubt I’m combining again today 🤷♂️👍. Quite the trip you had there. I thought about fall rye, but I’m worried the elk will dig it up all winter. Was going to put it on some of the hay fields we had biosolids applied on this summer.
Hi BP & CP! Oh notsa bad, enjoyed the vidjya bud! I have no opinion cause I'm not a farmer as to whether you should harrow that field of barley straw leftovers!
Good morning, BP and CP. You sound like you're having a stressful time. I can't see the guys' problem at the weigh bridge. you're paying for a service there. It's not like you're going to exceed the weight limit of your truck. 👍
@leeforeman3656 I don't pay just to get a empty weight and a loaded weight...it takes a total of about 10 seconds for both weights...but the guy I am buying seed from does alot of business with them
Congratulations on the grandbaby their wonderful 😊
👍
Looks like if he had just put more air in the front and back tire he would have cleared it. Have a great week.
@@southtexashay777 especially more air was required on the front right

@redjamwizard for a fall seeded crop I need to have it in the ground by Sept 15 I was told
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 yeah winter wheat has to be in about then too

yup give it a harrow, it'll spread the straw and get the weed seeds to germinate so you'll get a good winter kill for next season
Coiuh
Hopefully a harrow after seeding will help also
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 harrow after seeding helps bury and compact seed bed too so win win
Nice baling handling video BP

Man it looks like you're havin' too much damn fun! Sorry, I'd help if I wasn't 3 states and 1 country away.
Thanks for the offer...might take me longer to get things done but we still get it done
@@bcpfarmandtrucking6560 I have no doubt you'll get it done, but a little bit of help never hurts.

You Have to rent the heavy harrows but they are worth it, we pulled them with a JD5020.

Yep hook up harrows cause looks like with the drills you have a issue with plugging

21:57 not sure it's worth the fuel to harrow it up. Just disc it in really good.
Maybe discing it in would have been the thing to do but it's done now stay tuned for next video
