You might hate your self after I tell you this, but I couldn't stop laughing. There is a mod that can change the time in sims to normal time, and day and night to match. Lol.

Having the mod would have changed how the sim played, so when she copied the sim it wouldn't have done the things at the weirdest times, and made it hard.

In the settings you can change the amount of independence your sims have from they won't do anything unless you tell them to do something and at the other end of the scale they will automatically do tasks when their needs require it. The preset for sims independence is in the middle, they will spend a lot of time not doing much waiting for more commands. I'm not sure if you changed the setting for this video or not but I thought it was worth mentioning! :)

So I've just learnt that I actually live like a sim. I'm a cripple so I do take 12 minutes to walk down the stairs. Painkillers mean I have no body clock and do sleep at random times as well as often taking in excess of 6 minutes to pee, and I was actually surprised that people eat faster than the suggested times so I guess I'm a slow eater. The only thing I don't do is stand up.

8:24 I work in retail and do 4 hour shifts, standing, walking, bending over, NO BREAKS
I sometimes do 6 hours of it. If I took on this challenge I feel like I would be prepared for anything.
Christmas Eve I did 11.5 hours in retail, my 30 minute break was the only time I got to rest/sit down so I did roughly 11 hours of near continuous standing in a shift that started at 6am

Floergie I don't wanna be 'that guy', but since you're talking about how much faster, that means you're adding on. So, by adding on 100% you're doubling it, because you're adding another one of itself on to it. For instance, 10 + 100% of 10 = 20, which is double 10.
