Dude, it was the weirdest thing, I was listening to Pandora while waiting for this video to load, and this song started playing, but I didn't realize it, and then THIS youtube Bittersweet Symphony started playing only TWO seconds after. At first I was confused, then awed by the fact that the same song, NEARLY played at the same time on Pandora and RUclips.

The problem with VSQ doing bittersweet symphony is that it just sounds like an instrumental version... a very good instrumental version.

Its not classical, pop, or orchestra. its a replication of just damped harmonic oscillations on couple thin-gauge metal wire that is acoustically coupled to the air medium around (captured and digitized by a peizo-electric element mated with an ADC, also known as a computer). But you know what? No one gives a shit because its still music. And damn good music at that.

Not really a string quartet recording if there's alot of reverb, leveling, and extra tracks being dubbed on, but still it's a nice arrangement.

@ineptDolls Although I agree, Vitamin String Quartet incorporate a certain aesthetic in all of their pieces.; therefore, I would allow this minor sin.
@RoRoFab79 That actually makes it even funnier, since that means that this is a symphonic cover of a rock song which was based on samples from an earlier symphonic cover of an earlier rock song.

I think this is going to replace Pachabel's Cannon (aka the theme from Ordinary People) as the processional at a lot of weddings.
Love the Verve and Richard Ashcroft but this version is excellent..And for the first time ever i watched an ad past 5seconds 'DJ Spider' funny as fuck lol.
