    Love the way you broke this down ... and I've watched a ton of these videos prior to buying the key 61 A WHILE AGO... I was so inspired by this I got in line to buy the akai mpc one + for my boys just so they could learn this workflow. I told them be sure and watch this 30 minute video prior to using. They use reason programming mostly from the laptop keyboard. You've a great teaching voice and the 3 sections approach was a refreshingly wonderful building blocks type of way to visualize this which funny enough nobody else did quite like you did. Much thanks for the knowledge share. I started looking around at inmusic just to see if I could find classes you teach.

    Excellent walkthrough! Up there with Andy Mac and also SampleKing. As a relative MPC newbie with a key 61, I plan to come back and study this and work along with it on my gear. Thanks.

    Think it’s almost time to purchase this piece of kit. Loving my Mpc Live but this looks dope. I play the pads for everything but with the key 61 it just opens up so much potential creatively all there in front of me without having to keep plugging other items in.
    Thing is I know I don’t NEED this but feeling pulled towards it next.
    Dope video 👍🏻

    I get heat for saying this, but I still think this is primarily a beat makers keyboard rather than the traditional workstation. For use as a beat maker its a great option, but I still think it’s not a viable alternative to a Korg, Roland, or Yamaha workstation.

    great sounding keyboard with lots of possibilities,however,when you change the vocal into another key you get chipmunks,it could be what you want,or not,is there a possibility to preserve the voice?

      i know its a late reply but yes, you time stretch the sample instead of pitch shifting it

  • @lntellectualrap1522
    @lntellectualrap1522 9 месяцев назад +1

    Please tell me a MIDI keyboard with a similar configuration. So that it is not a synthesizer, but simply a MIDI keyboard for Abliton Live and costs correspondingly less. I understand that this workstation or synthesizer can be connected like a Midi keyboard, but then what’s the point of overpaying for technology, samples and much more that you won’t use. And I’m sure that it is very heavy, which greatly affects its mobility.

      You can save the song in many formats on the unit or save it on a usb or if you put a ssd hard drive in it there. It’s very easy you can save sequences the whole file of the performance you have created

    • @joonglegamer9898

      Up to you and your personal economy. I've got both the Key 61 and a Yamaha Montage (the original Modx+ big brother) and I think Key 61 is helpful for it, because you can record USB midi and control your MODX+ via the Key 61, which makes your Key 61 way more powerful since the MODX+ is a way more powerful synthesizer.
