The idea of a shifting gaze, that a shift in how our eyes view a work of art can create an ‘object’. It is one where the concept of ‘object’, as depicted in David Row’s paintings as well as in his sculptures, acquires a unique dimension. The entire experience is composed of parts and wholes coming together to create the ‘object’.
