    As a person who grew up with trains. It’s sad how this Museum is doing in its current state. Heard stories about it during Hurricane Andrew in the early 90s. I remember visiting this place in the 2000s and people were going to this place and pretty much nowadays it’s a ghost town.

      I've heard Gold Coast recently have undergone some staff changes to address the problems. So at least the Museum is aware of the current situation and is trying to change course.

      @@TheAdventureSchmuck I would’ve been nice if they sold some of their rolling stocks to other museums or railroads to use them.

    Yes just by the photos it is in sad shape. Started there in 1973 ran and rebuilt 113 several times sorry to see her and the 153 rotting away😢

      I was really shocked to see Gold Coast in this condition. I've been going for such a long time that I've never seen it in this condition before (since the 1980's).

    i was a fellow engineer of the link and its a fun locomotive to drive but the museum isnt the same like it was even 10 years ago.

      As someone who has been visiting this museum since the 1980's (back when they were located near the airport) -- the place was in the worst condition I've ever seen it. My most recent visit was depressing.
