Sorry mate. Can’t hear you over the music. Great for drone shots but not cabin chats. The sound of your voice and your machine is all the music we need 😁👍
For what it's worth, I like the music, and I appreciate that you're trying to do different things in the edit. So, it didn't work out exactly right, this time, big deal. Props for doing it yourself- not many RUclipsrs with half a million subs are editing their own videos!
Hi Chris. Great angles today on this one! The 250 is very agile and practical. Volvo must be proud to have you as a customer and working embasador. Love the therapeutic video. 🎶 neat too. Thanks for sharing.
I would say he meant that to be with the drone footage where he sped up the action......Very easy to do in the editing process....I always put something in the wrong place or order...and if I'm lucky I will catch 1 or 2 before I upload it :-)
It made my day to see you load that side-by-side and also think of the good old days of when you guys used the golf cart as a Haul truck lol have good one
I really liked the drone video. It helps to understand the scope of the project. A much better perspective of the dividing wall you temporarily left in place.
It's fine, you've already been a great influence on Chris and his videos, now that he's adding the drone footage of him working regularly to his videos. Hopefully he keeps it up.
Yes, 8 scoops per truck load. The experience of 15-20 years digging ponds shows in how easy you work your machine. 18:00 , have to speed up digging - ground water starting to seep in. Did you want mud? have you missed it?
I’ve been waiting for you to do some pond work my friend, I love these videos and I love the tree destruction! lol 😂 Chris, I think you’re the most precision operator I’ve ever seen, the way you cut a grade by eye! Awesome brother!👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the 250, not only loading but the power when you’re taking trees down! lol she’s definitely a “Beast”! That pond is fed with rain water and runoff I guess! I learn with each video Chris, very educational to me! Oh I love the big haul truck too, it’s awesome! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I have been viewing/enjoying your videos for a very long time (viewing some of them more than one time), but never commented before. They bring back memories of when I was in construction, even though I was primarily in drywall finishing and repair and then as a supervisory capacity for over 30 years and dabbling in different aspects of cabinet making and other woodworking occupations. What you do is a lot like finishing/repairing drywall, but different tools. LOL! I was watching this video and was (at first) wondering why you didn’t tell what machines you were using. I always enjoy hearing what they are. This time I figured out what it must be about the same time you said you were on the 250, because of the loading capabilities of the 250. I try to watch tentatively and try to figure out different ways of what you are doing (haven’t seen any yet, so be careful, LOL). Then going back to some of your earlier videos, you said clay is not good topsoil ( I know this from my own yard which, my house, is built on a site where a brick factory used to stand) I was wondering why you were hauling red clay up to the field. Then like in so many of your videos I saw that you were mixing topsoil in with the clay. Then you said it was going to be a firing range. Duh!!! It doesn’t need to be topsoil. Chris, Thank you for your many videos. Keep up the good work. Ken, in South Alabama
All of that good clay is sentiment from the mountains that used to be almost as tall as the Alps. And is little more that eroded rocks. That is why it packs so well and holds water.
Been watching for some time now but never commented, No reason to really. I love watching and just relaxing to the sound of equipment. I run a drill rig and install geothermal equipment for private homes and businesses. I’m no stranger to equipment being a crane operator for over twenty years. My favorite part of this whole thing is the purring of the equipment with occasional commentary from a smart and experienced guy. This new music thing y’all are doin I’m not too sure is gonna work for me but I do enjoy watching your videos guy. Stay safe and keep up the good work! Maybe I’ll just turn down the volume. A. Winters
I love watching your videos. I ran heavy equipment for around 10 years mostly track hoe and rubber tire back hoe. I did run a dozer here and there but loved the track hoe. I injured my neck and had 2 major neck surgeries that stopped the fun of it and couldn't do it anymore so watching you're videos is just enjoying to me. Thanks for all the really cool videos you do.
Pond extension looking good. Just curious if you were stripping the topsoil to save for pond banks or just mixing it up the clay? Looked like some decent topsoil.
I had 5500 acres ,one thing I loved doing, Chris was building dams ponds any you could water with🥰 . And still do but now I only have one.🤣 great watch
Chris, u'r the man. U put smiles 😃 on so many people's faces. Not only the clients that hire u but, alot of u'r subscribers. I always look forward to each and everyone of u'r "awesome" videos. U'r the best at what u do in my opinion. As for this video, the music covered u up when u were talking (how rude!). Congratulations on the 500k plus subscribers. That just proves people everywhere enjoy how professional u'r work is. Thank u for keeping us entertained. I too enjoy when u say "Tim~ber". Love the KW that hauls u'r equipment and I'm glad u bought a brand new truck. That wonderful smell of a new vehicle is perfect for a person who works as hard as u do. Life is precious and u must enjoy it as much as u can. Best wishes from this messed up state they think is golden.
@letsdig18 Chris you said that’s nice Clay and that would make a nice pond bottom. But if you were to put say 6 inches of nice beach sand on top of that and bring up the slope would that’ stay and how much flow through the pond would you need to keep it soft sand?
Dont think I would have gotten rid of that tree. The only tree that looked like it was giving shade to the pond and part of the shore in the afternoon. Could have worked your way around it I would think and expand more on the other side of the pond.
It’s a shame that you could not have made an island to preserve the he three trees. Your drone footage is terrific and really enhances your video presentation. Wishing you and your family another great week. Cheers...
I'm glad the owner decided to use that good soil type mud on his field. They should have you dredge tha ponds mud right out and put it to good work, better than regular soil.
These are the vids I love, I started watching during the lake dredging, do you ever think about that you're probably the first one to touch that soil since God put it there? Pretty cool And just one more thing, you should do a quick inspection of the bucket hasn't it been about a year now, be cool to see how it's held up
Got a good tree/forest clearing job in ohio 101 acres govt job we are waiting on prices. The only hitch unexplored ordinance an igloo blew up in 1942 and scattered 2-inc rockets across the area killed 9 workers. They were defective rockets and were returned from overseas to be repaired. They think someone dropped a box and it set off several thousand rockets. We assumed three acres per day to clear. Just cutting no stumping.
You would have loved the clearing of the land for Mercedes in Vance Alabama. The man who got the contract bought three new rotating semi mounted grinders along with all the support equipment. He was given 90 days to dispose of only the stumps and limbs. He got a really big bonus by finishing three weeks early. from what I heard he ran the equipment 18 hours a day only stopping for fuel and crew changes.

gonna get a 350 with a 7 or 8 cubic yard bucket any time soon - a three buckets fill a truck kind of monster would probably be nice for lager projects especially when you have more than one offroad truck on site
I went to look for the next video and saw this was uploaded today so i guess we gotta wait...very interested in how to get that final wall down...i did something similar to a very small pond to expand it with my tractor backhoe but then couldn't reach the wall...rookies right lol...livin the dream...if u ever need an operator, id pack up and leave today
nice looking pond chris, bet thats gonna look really nice when its gonna be finished and leveled off.lol customer wants some dirt ,kool man.loading dirt with a big bucket into a small side by side lol.nice, the side by side looked tiny compared to the big excavator heheheh.stay safe man.nice drone shots too chris.
Is there enough watershed to fill the "new " pond? I have seen it all now. Chris has loaded all manner of stuff but I'll bet that is the first time he ever loaded a side by side...
I don't understand why people have a pond that's only 5 feet deep, I would think 8-10 feet deep would be much better, is there any particular reason they keep them shallower.
Sorry mate. Can’t hear you over the music. Great for drone shots but not cabin chats. The sound of your voice and your machine is all the music we need 😁👍
The drone shots were very well done.
yes
I agree with Mike. Music better on the aerial shots since the drone has no audio. Great videos!
Can definitely do without the stock music in general, tbh.
Looks like I'm not the only one that can pass on the grocery store music
Should have made an island 🏝 for that pine 🌲 tree. Such a shame to see it go.
I was thinking the same thing. Put a picnic table and a fire pit, would be a good spot for a fish fry.
Agreed, nice area for kicking back and fishing. Maybe build a walk bridge over to the island.
Should’ve put it at the bottom of the pond for a fish habitat
An island would have been so nice
Exactly what I was thinking.
Music or Chris? I'd rather have Chris! I guess it was an editing problem.
I got the feeling the music was a bit premature.
The music was DEFINITELY overlayed over the wrong portion of the video
I’d take your commentary, no matter how random, or just the hum of the machines over the background music any day!
100% agree
I agree
Another vote for tossing the music! I can tell he's talking but can't tell what over the way way too loud music
100% agree
Agree
I'd rather hear Chris talk than listen to music. I like hearing his thought process and learning from it but hopefully it was just a editing error.
Bet it was supposed to go on the next bit, with the drone shot
@@steveschritz1823
Or, after reviewing the footage he didn't like what he had said and just played the music over it.
I really like the drone shots.
They bring the whole project into perspective.
Cris filled up the kubota with the dirt stuck to the sides of the bucket...awwww😂😂😂
Just saw that and lol
The music is a great touch, but I think you might have missed on the timing. :)
He had to edit out the dirty pond jokes..
@@edwinvanriel4548 hehehehehe
Kinda irritating. I miss the excavator humming to itself.
...and it's VERY loud.
I thought it was some weird excavator alarm SCREAMING at me!
I have begun to suspect that Chris records these videos as a way to cover for a habit of talking to himself.
🤔 You might be right.
sometimes talking to one's self is the only way to have decent conversation
@@steffen7478 Amen
I talk to myself.
Chris gives great dialogue when talking to himself. We learn a lot and enjoy knowing more about what is happening.

Yip
Double size - double price! 😄
Tearing the limb off of that tree really shows the power of that machine!
The audio music miss hap shows Chris is human. Great job Buddy.
awesome work on the pond Chris , and you have loaded the smallest dump truck 👍👍🤣🤣👍👍
Awe come on Chris... we were all waiting for a big SPLASH!!!
I think you missed a very rare trick for you. That lovely old pine tree would have made a lovely feature on a small island. Pity !
Yep. I said that too! Bit of a shame !
What a shame about the tree, in the drone shots I thought how lovely it was. I didn’t think it would be first to go. 🥲
No problem for the “Pond Doctor “! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Letsdig18🤜🏻🤛🏻

Proud enough that they did a video about him a few years ago, at least.
@@Mephiston yes I heard. He IS the consummate professional on his trade line.
I like your videos, but today the music dround out any dialog you had intended. Keep up the good work.
Natural sounds > music
I believe it was an error in editing and not purposeful.
yeah he messed up the audio track,, he put the music over him talking instead of the drone/ digging part of the video
I'm loving the addition of the drone cam while you work to your video repertoire. Bealy Good Farms has been a positive influence.
You've got background music over the commentary around 15:00
ya i noticed that too, i dont know if that was meant to be that way.

Love the drone footage, it shows the site beautifully.
Ok that Winston fouled up the editing !
Chris I’ve seen you take down many trees, this was the only one I was sad about 😥
I was thinking he could have made a small island for the tree.
With you guys on this one. Seems a shame to drop the only real tree out there!
It is a shame but we all have to grow up lol
Ray, I felt the sadness of which you speak. If fell out there all alone. Sad.....
My compliments to the driver of the articulate hauler.. One doesn't see such smooth backing up often.
The way you say “this little half acre pond” makes me question our pond project 🤔
🤣🤣🤣🤣
He hasn't built it yet so no time like the present to clear another half acre or so. I am sure he would love to do it.

When you’re hauling dirt in a UTV it’s better to just make two trips than start breaking things. Words of wisdom, right there.
