Hahaha great video...I did a wash n go the other day using the Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls and I paired it with the Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls Gel and I loved the softness and definition my curls had.
lph2177 OMG I just used the Miss Jessie's Pillow Soft Curls and Miss Jessie's Jelly Soft Curls Gel and I absolutely love that combo! My hair is so soft, voluminous and I have definition! Definitely my new holy grail wash and go products!
I tend to use my curl creams underneath a gel, and it works out amazing. I do this for the curl enhancing smoothie (no flaking), the frizz-taming smoothie (no flaking), and Aunt Jackie's curl la la (no flaking). I *love* my results with all 3 of them. Recently I got the "Every Strand" curling cream and it just flakes right off the bat, even when using a minimum amount, on impact, bam, it flakes. So I use that one just by itself (no serum or oil either). It does have a lot of hold, though!
The Curl la la, is blue in color and quite thick and looks chunky in the jar (or maybe I got a bad jar). But for me, so far, it works well with gel (I have a generic brand from our local Aldi that has good ingredients). I don't use a lot of product, though, so that's why it might work well for me. I've gotten a bit scared after that "Every strand" fiasco. LOL!

I LOVE miss jessies!!! you have to try coily custard!!! also i suggest you pay attention to her memorial day weekend sales! because that is when i stock up like crazy on her products! last year i made 2-3 separate orders!

I pair pillow soft with a little bit of sheam moisture detangler(to finish it up) mixed chicks leave in, sweet almond oil tos eal, pillow soft then, a little krystal eco gel for added hold in NY humidity, and its still soft with minor crunch and nice shine, and lasts all week even with spinning class in between. My hair looks very mi=uch like yours. Think I found my staple wash and go products!
Only if I add to much gel, or add gel a couple days later OR if I stretch with my blow dryer for to long, that breaks they properties down and flake city.. I'm heavy handed so I have to take that into consideration when styling!. I'm going to try with the Kinky Curly since I have that and like it, but its moisturizing on its own and being that PS has glycerin as the 2nd ingredient I try not to put too many humectant heavy products on during spring in NY. Eco has glycerin as #5 I think so humidity doesn't affect my hair with it
Tip-apply mixed chicks leave in( if you use it) in the shower on soaking wet hair. By the time you apply pillow soft it'll have soaked in. Then gel. I have no flaking this time around

miss jessie's products are good. i use them sparingly because they are expensive. but really work well on the hair.
