1. The deal was never given to Dassault aviation in 2012. All was just a proposal only. But presenter is claiming that tender
was given to them. Its wrong info. Dassault aviation was not ready to accept responsibility for HAL, so it never went to completion.
2. Nobody cancelled the 2012 deal, because there was no deal to cancel in the first place. Why he is giving misleading info.

Mr ganapathy,HAL is a profitable but they lay in terms of quality and delivery time.American aviation department inspected HAL for 2 days and they gave a certificate that it doesn't have a capacity and capabilities to produce advance fighter jets..but HAL infrastructure should be improved and they should get the contract.
But reliance just started with no infrastructure bro....it is the responsibility of the government to provide all the necessary facilities for HAL...

The deal is all about govt procuring air crafts and the govt company HAL is involved in the process of finalizing both technical and commercial discussion. More importantly when the transfer of Technology is handed over to HAL we shall produce and improve the air crafts on our own.
Most important question is when the govt says since it's a very urgent requirement aircraft we given order for 36 nos in a fly away condition, but how many air crafts delivered to you so far in the past 3 years.
Also when a govt directly bought 36 air crafts in a fly away condition, what is a role of Reliance. If it's for maintenance we shall do the same with Indian army technicians and HAL technicians. Whats the need of allocating around 40000 cr addition for the maintenance

The deal UPA made with Rafale didnot happen mainly because, Rafale refused to give guarrantee for HAL made planes.
So if HAL is a very good company, why shud we ask guarrantee for the planes HAL producing.
P.S. Nearly 7 sukhoi planes made by HAL have crashed so far. Mirage planes directly procured planes were used in Kargil war and in recent air strike in Balakot , Pakistan. Plane/ Helicopter crashes we see in the news are mostly made by HAL.
Moreover HAL was super busy in producing Tejas and other helicopters.

Bro check your facts ..... PPA was not executed for 126 fighter jets ..... Everything was under discussion. You need to know UPA took nearly 10 years to negotiate the PPA, This is ridiculous and number of squardens is reducing and it's a quick fix problem to proquire 36 fully assembled jets.
You know reliance industries is only going to manufacture certain parts of jet and not entire jet so they don't require the knowledge is fighter jet building... Who ever quotes lower price is going to win the contract with dassault aviation.

Misleading information like this are more dangerous.
1. There was no deal under the UPA Government. Transfer of Technology remained the primary issue of concern between the two sides. This fact is totally hidden out intentionally in this hate mongering presentation.
2. Contract negotiations remained incomplete even after 2 years, in 2014 due to a lack of agreement on various terms of RFP compliance and cost related issues. But this presentation claims about previous contract by UPA. The facts should be verified by or presenting to the public.
The anchor appears to ignorant of many facts.because of the following reasons.
1.Rs 526crores is the basic cost.The fully loaded air craft is 1600 crores
2. In 2015 Quarar and Saudi Arabia purchased Fully loaded Rafel aircraft at 1300/ crores a plane.
3.India is purchasing fully loaded Rafels at 1600/ air craft in 2016.
4.The requirment of 126 planes is in talks since 2001.a proposal put forward by NDA because of the causualty suffered by the country in Kargil war.
4. The deal was almost finalized but A.K Anthony said the Government doesn't have money to purchase.
5. If the issue of purchase of multi medium range aircraft was there couldn't the country postponed the CWG games which costed 70000/ crores most of which went to the pockets of Politicians/Contractors/Babus.
6. If at all P.Chidambaram/A.K Anthony/Manmohan Singh/Rahul Gandhi had concern for the security of the country we could auctioned spectrum and coal blocks and we cold have raised 1.75+1.85- 3.6 lakh crores and if we add CWG we would had 3.60+0.70- 4.3 lakh crores.This shows there was no intention about the security of the country.It appears that when the country was ridden with corruption charges A K. Anthony backtracked
7.If the country were to get a
Rafel at 500 crores then we could have purchased 140 planes from the money spent on CWG games.
8.The agreement was 18 crafts in fly away condition the rest 108 to be produce in HAL at three times more man power under licence with out transfer of Technology /Dassault standing as gaurantee for the planes produced in Inda.

This video highly distorts the truth. It looks like it is motivated to tarnish Modi by presenting only certain facts and allegations of Congress while hiding replies of the NDA Govt.
This video ignores certain information so that Modi appears to unable to counter the allegations of Rahul Gandhi, and Reliance has been given the contract to manufacture Rafels for IAF. The facts left out by the Vikatan TV are as follows:
1. The price of Rs.526 crores (quoted many years back) for each aircraft arrived during UPA is only for the aircraft without any arms, radars, and support services like Maintenance, Pilot Training, etc that are very costly too. Then, that the UPA deal was also not even finalised and signed at that time.
2. The contract for the Ambani has been for carrying out the Rafel Offset (50% of the order value to be invested in India/ earned for India by export). It is not meant to manufacture any Rafael Aircraft as on date. They manufacture and export spares like cones suitable for other aircrafts of Dassault. So, no Rafael aircraft from Ambani Enterprise.
3. Dassault refused to guarantee the Rafael aircrafts to be manufactured at HAL. Additionally, HAL demanded 2.7 times the labour charges for assembling the aircraft sub-assemblies from the Dassult. This makes the aircraft very costly for the IAF. For your information, Sukhoi aircrafts assembled at HAL is significantly costlier than the ones imported from Russia.
Thus, the truth is very different from the one suggested by this video. Yet, I do agree that the government should reply all relevant facts to us. The deal is being examined by the CAG now. We need to wait for their comments.
Vikatan TV should present both sides of the issue without such distortions.

Most of the public sector like BSNL HAL are not encouraged and becoz of that rise of Jio and others were emerged.... If BSNL was encouraged on time then there won't be any need airtel,Vodafone etc. Most of the Indian would have BSNL as their network.

Many factual errors . The cost of a plane was increased in BJP govt but with additional features like starting at high altitude of 30000 feet in sirichen.also, song govt agreement did not have nuclear capability and anti radar. With these features cost would go up. Secondly, while cong agreement was for some 118 planes, delivery would take ten years for entire lot and first lot would come only after 3-4 years. Bjp negotiated this wanted immediate delivery. Remember, technology changes rapidly and this aircraft after ten years may not be technically advanced in 2025. On partnering HAL, they don't have the capability. Sad truth in India is all PSUs have the issue, be it Air India,BSNL etc.. Reliance defense was incorporated just days before the deal but Reliance defense was operational for more than 15 years under the name of Pipavav defense. Reliance acquired this company in 2015 and changed name to Reliance defense. As far as I'm concerned, there is no compromise on quality of air craft but only question is why Reliance ia given preferential treatment

First of all there was no deal under the UPA Government. Transfer of Technology remained the primary issue of concern between the two sides. Dassault Aviation was also not willing to take the responsibility of quality control of production of 108 aircraft in India. While Dassault provisioned for 3 crore man hours for production of the aircraft in India, HAL’s estimate was nearly 3 times higher, escalating costs manifold

What HAL has achieved since its inception? HAL still can't come up with a working Tejas aircraft yet. People working in HAL only go their to spend time, eat bonda bajji in the canteen and go home early every day. They are the biggest free loaders and a liability to tax paying citizens like me and everyone else. India needs aircrafts as soon as possible to protect itself from China built up across our borders and our terrorist neighbor Pakistan. The indian air force requested for light combat aircraft's way back in 2001 but congress started the procurement process only in 2007 but still they could not conclude the deal in their ruling period.
