Sadly this is gonna happen with other car companies too unless the game developers have licenses for their models but most of them don't. Games like Vehicle legends have used self made models which didn't look great but now they are replacing them with original models as they now have licenses I belive. I hope developers do something about this but it will take some time if it happens

I can't find any information on specific costs, but in 2004 a racing game attempted to get a license for Lamborghini and it was expected to cost $400k for just a few cars. That deal was never accepted. And then some companies like Porsche can't even sell out licenses because they're on a contract with EA specifically. There's so much that goes into these. However, I'm pretty sure I watched a video in the past that had something to do with art and being allowed to remake specific car models without facing litigation. So, assuming that's true some games may argue that they created these cars based on Lamborghini but they aren't so they don't have to be removed. All up to the devs and the route they'd like to go though, so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Greenville has the same fictional Lamborghini name as ER:LC and SW:FL so it doesn't make sense. Yes, the cars look the same and don't have an official Lamborghini logo, but there is still a high chance of deletion in many more games with similar fictional car names.

Strange they would remove cars that use fictional branding when games have been using real life cars with fictional branding for years. Grand Theft Auto does this a lot with cars that don't necessarily look like two cars mashed together but a whole real life car. An even older game like San Francisco Rush had real life cars that were only named based on their difficulty to drive.

LA Rush did have licensed cars in it (Along with West Cost Customs now GAS). The first car you start off with in that game was the Nissan 240 SX. I remember an old driving MMO named Drift City has a few licensed brands in it and the rest was real cars with fictional names. Now the practice is more common in the indie game space where there is no budget to afford to license a real brand so they opt for the real look but remove all badges, logos, and signature designs so it still recognizable what it represents. AAA devs don't have this kind of money issue is why most modern AAA driving games use real brands.

There's a licensing act which exists called Registered Designs act 1949, which protects clients from having their designs stolen. Even if you create an in-game model using a protected car design, just changing the name of the brand will not help much, really. All you can do is redesign the car models. It's unfortunate, really.

Honestly, I didn’t expect this from Lamborghini.. I thought this would at least be Ferrari since they love to sue. Such a recognizable car brand but, oh well.. at least CC2 has Lambos.. Today I went to checkout Midnight Racing Tokyo and apparently the Lamborghini Countach and the Lamborghini Miura both are still in the game. So i think so that Lamborghini is taking down all the newer Lamborghinis in the game.

If you did get detected by roblox system, you can try to do your own imagination fictional Lamborghini (like Taxi boss with their fictional countach) by mixing parts of other vehicles of the same brand whilst not looking too far from real counterpart

I think mass market manufacturers has alot less care about some random game on Roblox taking their models. Even if so, examples of mass market manufacturers like Hyundai and Honda has done some games which feature their vehicles over on Roblox in recent times. While I'm not saying that the possibility of GM or Ford Motor Co. wouldn't be banning any vehicles under its division, i would say the likeliness of it happening is alot less than say, Lamborghini and Koenigsegg more recently.

Today I went to checkout Midnight Racing Tokyo and apparently the Lamborghini Countach and the Lamborghini Miura both are still in the game. So i think so that Lamborghini is taking down all the newer Lamborghinis in the game.

whats crazy to me is not only is it just a game, but its also free promotions! the devs are pretty much making advertisements for these car companies, and in return they get spat on. its disgusting and pretty childish. I have lost respect for Lamborghini and any other company that does this.

If you did get detected by roblox system, you can try to do your own imagination fictional Lamborghini (like Taxi boss with their fictional countach) by mixing parts of other vehicles of the same brand whilst not looking too far from real counterpart

Chevrolet Caprice had been discontinued since 2017.
There is no point of copyclaiming them if they're discontinued already, all it would cause is frustration.
I think mass market manufacturers has alot less care about some random game on Roblox taking their models. Even if so, examples of mass market manufacturers like Hyundai and Honda has done some games which feature their vehicles over on Roblox in recent times. While I'm not saying that the possibility of GM or Ford Motor Co. wouldn't be banning any vehicles under its division, i would say the likeliness of it happening is alot less than say, Lamborghini and Koenigsegg more recently.

Every car game that isn't on roblox that uses real car brand's car models actualy has a licence to use the name and models for the car. A game on Roblox called Driving Simulator has Lamborghini in their game but they're car designs aren't copy based but rather redesign and re-branded. I hope they don't take those out.
