- When the weather gets rough, are your eyes on the wind and rain, or on the Lord?
We can learn a great deal from what happened to the disciples when Jesus commanded them to set out on the Sea of Galilee, and a terrible storm arose. As the wind and waves assailed their boat, they were frightened by conditions so far beyond their control.
Such moments, and such responses, happen to us all. That storm was surely a life-changing experience for the disciples, and ours can be for us, as well. In this message, Dr. Stanley shows us that while discouragement and even fear are natural reactions to stormy circumstances, we can move past those challenging emotions. We may feel helpless, but God is our steadfast Helper who intervenes powerfully in our circumstances in ways beyond what we imagine.
You can learn how to respond in faith to the adversities that come into your life. When your eyes are on your heavenly Father, you will see His faithfulness.

Everyone in our nation needs to hear this. I was convicted listening to this message. I was off of work by our state governors executive order for 6 weeks. I had a lot of extra time and while I did use some of it for prayer and study, I could have done more. I'm back at work and business isn't the same. I'm 48 and have been in business for 28 years, but business isn't very good. I don't know what to do. I can go awhile yet, but I have a strong sense that the next few months will be it. I have extra time now and I want to use it better like Pastor Stanley says. Let's all pray for one another.
I am 63 i do not think it is going back to normal,only God knows the beginning to the end i will never give up hope to spend eternity with him and all who are saved i pray every morning he wakes me up,yes we should all pray for one another,Amen,Praise the Lord.

I prayed for you. Please ask God to help my mom and give her hope. She feels so terrified and upset about how horrible the world is. Please ask God to be tender with her because she is also suffering with an infection and is very desperate, and sees nothing but bad all around her. She has been through hell and needs prayer! God promised us a financial miracle and bless Him for that. For some reason she thinks it's only for me even though He told me because I was upset about her and her being desperate. She wants reassurance it's for her too. She needs emotional healing, physical healing, she is feeling very hopeless and needs prayer!!! She is obsessed with bad news online and it's torture to her...

In the midst of the storm is one of the greatest sermons to help everyone learn to stand strong no matter what happens in life. In Dr. Stanley's words, this disease is a killer. After my youngest brother and two best friends died that was younger than I am died suddenly. I cried and still cry for the loss, but after hearing Dr. Stanley do the sermon "In The Midst Of the Storm" uplifted me to keep going on and uplifting others who weep for their loved ones. God bless Dr. Stanley and his ministry.

You and your wife are in my prayers. Nothing is impossible for God. Please remember me and my family in your prayers as well.
Nick Jones: Praying your marriage become stronger and thriving. Nick forgive your wife of whatever she done to bring stress and heartache into the marriage. And for your wife to forgive you of whatever you done to bring stress and heartache into the marriage. Nick marriage is a learning experience and most people give up before they even begin to mend and restore what broke their marriage in the first place. Learn to be quick to forgive and slow on remembering who done what and why. Nick there is no quick formula or movie version on how to fixed a broken marriage but, read ALL the scriptures on marriage in the Bible and see if, any of them apply to your situation. Pray Nick that Almighty God can HEAL your marriage for good. Start saying nice comments to your wife each morning and before bedtime each night. Nick buy your wife fresh flowers, greeting cards (more than one card) and buy dinner (maybe bottle of her favorite wine or beverage) to show her how important she is to you. Nick its the little things (surprise's) that you do makes your wife feel needed and loved. Nick never hold grudges (animosity) against your wife...forgive and forget just as God has done towards you. I been married for 18 years and me and my husband have learned to Forgive and Forget each other quickly and NEVER to bring it up again whatever we was at odds with one another. Half the stuff my husband said to me out of anger I can't recall what he said to me (same for him). I learned to love my husband with a Godly heart not a flesh type feelings kind of heart but, with a Christ-like heart. Nick see your wife thru God's eyes and not your own eyes and you will not have so many regrets and stuff. God bless you Nick (and your sweet wife) and I pray God can (and will) heal and restore your marriage before year 2020 has gone. Stay positive and be more passionate to your wife. Lulu marriage (besides parenting) is the hardest lessons a person has to go thru. There is no one solution to fixing a broken marriage. Lulu you take the first step by asking God to help you learn how to forgive your husband for whatever he has done to you that broke your heart. It takes time to have a Christ-like heart when it comes down to forgiving a person who has broken that trust and bond with you. But, forgive your husband just as God has forgiven you. Start by calling your husband for a dinner date so, you and him can begin to communicate again. Buy a greeting card and his favorite snacks (chips, candy bar or energy drink) whatever he likes. Then compliment him on his appearance and grab his hand and tell him how much you missed him and how important he means to you. Tell him you want to mend your relationship by starting over again. Lulu let him know that you have forgiven him and that you hope he can forgive you for hurting his heart. After your dinner date ask him if, it would be okay to plan other get together. Plan other dates like breakfast on weekends (whenever your off day from work) or to go on picnic in the park.
