Most Darts players are only on top for a few years. MVG who was a freak of nature in his prime has only won 3 World Titles in 18 years.. It’s not easy to do. Littler will be lucky to reach 5/6.

Barney's BDO titles were in the days when the BDO was arguably higher quality all-round than the PDC so they definitely count, Durrants are different the quality gap was much larger. Any BDO title pre-2007 when Barney moved over absolutely counts the same. Anyone that's won it since eg. Durrant & Bunting are introduced as 'lakeside world champions'.
