Been following you for years, watching near enough every single video, and a year ago l FINALLY managed to bring myself to bulk and get over needing to be super lean with veins everywhere. After being plateaued for literal years, l went from a 2 plate bench to finally benching 3 plates today!! I know it’s nothing special, but if it weren’t for you l’d forever be a 2 plate bencher, so thank you so much for opening my eyes to the fact that 15% body fat, and even bear mode still looks good!! You made me realise I don’t always have to be super lean, l wasted way too many years on that but glad l finally escaped the mental trap
THE POWER OF CONSISTENCY, BULKING, SETTING HIGHER STANDARDS, AND TRAINING THE RIGHT WAY!!! You rock, Ross. 3 plates is one of the best benching achievements and to hit it after being stuck at 2 plates for so long shows that we're all capable of so much more.
It's because other are believe in lifting light to failure can always get you gains without upping the weights nevers and those who do heavy weights only do it on deadlift which is useless for building muscle.
The positive responses from you, bom, and everyone else honestly means the world to me 🙏 naturals have way more potential than l thought, and l’m really excited for the first time in a long time to see how much progress l can continue to make 💪

2017 is when the channel really started taking off and each year since then has only gotten better. I'm proud to still have you on board and to have helped during some of your most crucial years! Keep grinding brother.
Your content is starting to fill in a niche and giving a great in-depth look into natural training and progression in incredible detail, I’m happy to see your success and I think your dedication to the craft as well as your consistency are your best attributes.

Alex, I paused the video randomly at 8:10 to read the comments, and the physique is absolutely mind-boggling 🤯🤯 You + a few others have now legitimately dispelled the "natty genetic limit" with your progression. Keep up the good work man!!!
Looking fantastic Alex, can’t wait to see the final product. I’ve been doing wide grip pull-ups & pull downs lately due to your recommendation and they are great!
As a beginner, you inspire me to push myself hard, knowing that even years from now when I may or may not qualify as "advanced," there will still be much to develop in my own body. I need not worry about "natural limits" as much as failing to bring the effort and discipline necessary to progress.
It is almost impossible to believe that you are natural, just shows you how much a good plan, consistency and desire can give you to! You look like a greek god in your cut man. A huge inspiration for all of us.
Let's all just take a second to really appreciate what this man is doing for hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. Its just absolutely amazing what kind of an example you have become sir.
I haven't watched much RUclips fitness in the last 4 years, but I just wanted to say that you've made incredible progress man. I watched you all the time when I was around 21-22.
Absolutely crushing the "natty limit"! Also always heard as a natural you get either the muscle fullness or the cuts not both. I think your back during those pullups disagrees!
Yeah man you could look full and detailed as a natty but the absolute measurements and weight might not be there. But whatever, it's all about the appearance!
You're absolutely in killer shape big bro. I'm hyped and excited for what's going to come next for you. I'm grateful that I have someone like you to look up to. Salute!
Alex I have to thank you for introducing me to Chest Expander “pull aparts”.. I’ve always lacked that full look to my shoulders (13+ years of training).. Ever since I started adding those, like 1 month ago I already got people commenting on my shoulder fullness/ roundness😮💨 Feels good, thanks again😎
I feel you Adriaan we have the same training experience and noticed the same thing in a short duration by using the expander. I'm happy you're getting great shoulder results and I bet your upper traps also improved.
@@AlexLeonidas Awh man that’s similar for sure! Upper traps, shoulder and pretty much whole upper back 🦍 Crazy thing is that I did tons of band pull aparts but never got these results. Might be the resistance and or hand positioning, whatever it is it’s working, much respect you legend😂✊🏼
You are a real legend Alex. Truly inspiring. Keep up the phenomenal work. I don't think you, or I, have any idea how much and how many people you've significantly impacted along your journey. You are a role model. Much love brother
Watched one of your other videos suggesting dumbbell skull crushers as opposed to the standard EZ bar, and it's done wonders for me. No elbow pain at all. Thanks Alex.
@@AlexLeonidas Thanks Alex. Would you mind answering a question I have if possible? Basically, I'm currently on a 3 day per week PPL split and each muscle typically sees around 6-8 sets per week (pretty much all until near failure) but I'm not sure if this is too low in volume. I did try upper lower 4 day split and full body 3 day but found towards the end of the workouts I was so drained of energy I sometimes couldn't actually finish the workout or just did less sets. What would you recommend in this scenario? Stick with PPL, or try to stick it out with one of the others? Cheers.
Truly amazing job my man, how unsurprising it is that probably one of the most passionate guys in this community and the most consistent to learning and trying new things, is the one that lapped everyone in terms of progress and is still making visible gains each year. Keep it up, you are an inspiration.
Lookin like a Saiyan Prince Alex. It's funny. You look enhanced literally because of how developed you are. YET you've done this Natty. AMAZING inspiration 🙏💪
My HSPUs are freestanding, as I am interested more in skills and less in hypertrophy, but this channel is still helpful, and it is awesome for learning about weighted pull-ups, which are now getting me closer to the full frontlever. Thank you Alex!
One of the first times I see it while training! You must try both, as an experienced natty who does weights and calisthenics, the humbling effect is legit.
The straightening the arms rather than pivoting em tip I find absolutely key to mess up ones biceps. I do drag hammer curls (Head supported in my case) which basically are based on this idea and the pump and feel is absolutely excellent.
The dumbell preacher curl is such a good exercise. Doesnt even matter the incline of the bench but it always puts a lot of tension on the bis when there fully stretched. Feel like the tendons gunna deadass rip
I’m not that strong but I’ve been progressing more recently. 140lb & I’m squatting 165 for low reps but I don’t half rep, if anything I try to do paused ATG but I need to get in the 200s at very least. I’m being out lifted by females my weight. Diet has always been my struggle. I was really skinny when I was young. Honestly I watched your channel for a long time and I didn’t even lift the entire time. Looking back I could think how dumb I was for wasting so much time but I had so many other bad habits like drinking that I had to get over first before I could be disciplined. But now that I’m really lifting consistently I have all the knowledge that your channel has given me, & it’s priceless. My problem is lifting too light but that has prevented me from getting injured. I do everything beltless. I should do your novice program but I’m intimidated by full body. Upper lower is already intense enough for me tbh
Looking absolutely monstrous during those hammer curls. The forearm, the upper arm, the delt and especially rear, combined with those traps and chest good Lord Alex you're going far!
Hi Alex. theres something ive been struggling with. Been following you and @RenaissancePeriodization for a long time now. In their video about "How Many Exercises Should You Do Per Muscle To MAXIMIZE Growth?" posted 7 months ago, Dr.Mike talks about that in most cases, finding 1-2 good exercises per mucle per session, and hammer these with multiple sets, will lead to you getting in a better groove each sets and get a better mind-muscle connection , instead of having to move around to different machines, waiting, re-warm up, etc. As a newbie, i really dont know what would be better. Love your vids Alex and thank you.
