I used to really like Staropramen when we could get the proper stuff here. I remember when they changed it as I was still an avid lager drinker. I cant remember the last time I touched it now. Great video mate cheers.
The difference is night and day before i watch thw vid, when i first started drinking it years ago, i loved it, as soon as they started brewing it over here it just had no flavour, ill never drink the uk brewed one again
@R.C.M.. I absolutely love PU and especially on tank, I prefer PU in the can aswell, I am going to get the M&S Czech Lager as its brewed as you say in the Czech brewery, I may do a 4 way tasting with Budvar , Staropramen, PU and the M&S Lager 👍🍻
Great video, I watched the other day. Interesting that you agree with me in the blind tasting that Urquell and M&S pilsner are better tasting than Staro.
I know glasses make a difference but you could tell by looking at them - the imported one had a nice looking head that hung around. Edit - bugger me, I typed this before you’d finished, as soon as I did, you kept going on about the head 😂

check the reply on the pils from Lidl 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good video psl
Not the same without the blindfold. 😂 At least Joley still there to help you. 👏 Simple, fun video.
I was tempted. very tempted, cheers David 🍻
Why do these breweries continue to use green bottles, just use brown to avoid this skunkiness issue . Is it due to production cost?
@R.C.M.. honestly I haven't a clue, it does ruin these beers though with light strike and not knowing how long they have been stored on the shelf.
@@MrBsHomebrewsandBeerReviews It just seems like a no brainer to me to go brown bottle. But then what do I know !
@@R.C.M.. I 100% agree 👍
I wish somewhere would sell the mexican brewed corona. Its a really nice sweet malty beer but the UK brrewed version tastes like stale dishwater
@theww9985 I honestly can say I have never had either mate but cheers 🍻
Aldi used to do it (they may still). The British Corona gives me a headache, but the Mexican one doesn't.
The way I'd test these side by side is to pour them straight down the toilet, without drinking them and see which one produced the most foam 🤣
Don you would like the original czech brew i am sure 👍

I have to agree 100% cheers 🍻
It's always obvious. The UK versions of International lagers are utter pish.
hard to disagree
The Czech brewed stuff is so much better.
100% agree 👍 🍻
Buy Pilsner Urquel or the Czech brewed beer from M&S, both are far superior to both these Staropramen versions.

@@MrBsHomebrewsandBeerReviews Good shout. That will make a good video, I think you should do it.

@@R.C.M.. PU stood out a mile to be honest, cheers 🍻🍻
@@MrBsHomebrewsandBeerReviews yes, Not surprising really, PU probably the best lager in the world, at least in terms of mass produced.
The U.K. brewed version is awful. Like most U.K. brewed larger/pilsners.
@Outdoorshuntingshooting I agree when it's the macro uk brewed lagers for sure 👍🍻
Borrowed my arse ….we’ve done loads of borrowing then ….🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mark I could take them back if I wanted 🤣🤣

🤣 It was a bloody brilliant beer once you got rid of the skunk, it just had the right flavours cheers Lee 🍻
