Probably the most beautiful piece of music ever made!
After reading a lot of comments, i started to get a bit emotional. So much people that have the same feelings about this theme and movie. This movie had a big part in my childhood so this theme gives me goosebumps everytime.
Not only did John Williams make masterpieces like Harry Potter and Star Wars, but he made this, the greatest thing a lifetime could ask for.
100% Harry Potter and Star Wars are my 2 biggest fandoms.
Harry potter is a classic and honestly my favorite film

The words that made everyone’s childhood
Okey, so the fact I was born in 2007, and all the Jurassic PARK movies had already come out a long time ago, still makes me cry because this made my childhood even if I didnt watched it when it came out, and this movie marked me, and started my obsession for dinosaurs aja

Best theme ever
Being born in the late 80's and growing up in the 90's was so rewarding. Jurassic Park, Batman, Back to the Future, Terminator 2 were big parts of my childhood. So much fun.
yes 😎
You forgot... Lion King, Power Rangers, Hercules, Michael Jordan dominating the NBA, Space Jam, R Kelly...
Those were good times
Sorry, but being borned with the dinasaurs is the best childhood.

There aren't many movies that can tear me up past the first viewing but the sheer awe of that brachiosaurus herd never fucking fails and the musical theme has a lot to do with it.
My tears were running faster than those Raptors. This isn't only Theme of Jurassic Park, this is Theme of my childhood.

I was born in 2000 and first watched Jurassic Park when I was about 10 years old. I fell in love with the movie and I can't describe in words how much this movie and the whole trilogy built my childhood. With each re-screening these beautiful memories return and I sincerely hope that these films will never be forgotten. They are true masterpieces. A huge thanks to Steven Spielberg for creating these beautiful films and giving me unforgettable memories.❤

I saw Jurassic World yesterday. It was an epic, modern ending to a legendary series, and it also had the Main Lobby from the original Jurassic Park. It gave me chills when I saw the gate to the Lobby.
this isn't the end. Chris Pratt already signed onto a sequel, and Colin trevormorrow (director) confirmed they have about 38-movies worth of ideas.
Nicole cateargrande yeah, and the ingen guys took the last of the embryos!
Sadly it isn't the final movie, a sequel has already been greenlit, and Chris Pratt signed on for 2 or 3 movies.

Many of you, if you close your eyes while listening to this music, will see a fantastic world of dinosaurs...
but if I close my eyes while listening to this music I just see a little boy with the sun in his eyes, with his hat and backpack, riding the his bike to discover the world and nature in all its wonderful models and infinite suggestions, a discovery around every corner, every meadow and every river, on those warm and beautiful spring days! I know this has nothing to do with dinosaurs... but it has a lot to do with me!
haahaha lol same!
It's so beautiful, I am crying. I am 30 now. Jurassic Park was the first big Hollywood movie I ever saw. My dad took me an my cousins to the theater to watch it. Before that, I had never seen such breathtaking landscapes, animals, emotional stories (like when the dad and the children spend the night on the top of that tree) and action. This movie changed my life and this music brought all of those memories back to me.
Edit: Oh, my bad.. that wasn't the kids father. It really has been a long time. Thanks to folks for correcting me.
Dude I'm 18, but I know you're exact feeling. Gives me chills every time I listen.

This song has a deep meaning, especially for those that grew up watching this in the early 90s. The Cold War had just ended, science was one the up and up, people's standards of living were going up. Everyone just had this sense of things are getting better. And that's what I think this song highlights, the optimism of a bright future, that was the 90s.
Jurassic parks were my favorite movies I always loved dinosaurs 🦕 🦖 since a kid . This music reminds me of my parents and when times were simple I could cry. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing.

What makes the first Jurassic Park so special is that it offers so much more than dinosaurs. The dinosaur moments are incredible but it also has a unique plot and screenplay, a perfect tone and tension, strong directing, brilliant cinematography and editing, a big sense of adventure, brilliant locations and visuals, lots of likable characters, solid performances, and incredible music! It has so much to offer :)

Too bad John Williams doesn't make the music for Jurassic World. Check out the credits in trailer.
But yes, the trailer itself features this theme.
How Dare they!!!! This theme will always be the Jurassic Park theme!!! I would love it if they actually use a remix of this song or something, that would be sick

Jurassic World will be scored by Michael Giacchino, who is a damn good composer
Good...
Who knew a movie about people getting trapped at a theme park with blood thirsty dinosaurs could have such beautiful music?
I think you missed the whole point of the movie.
What do you mean
It wasn't about bloodthirsty dinosaurs, it was about the fact that man and dinosaur were not designed to live together. It was almost like a Planet of the Apes message. The majestic music (most notably in the first scene that shows dinos) highlights how dinosaurs were majestic creatures (not blood thirsty as you understandably called them). Of course they would kill to survive. Even humans do that. But when man tried to control the dinosaurs, everything started going bad (then the creepy music starts). When the humans leave, the dinosaurs were again free from man's interference, and that's when the majestic music kicks back in.
Actually, it wasn't really like a horror movie where people that die did something to deserve it. In this movie, they made a mistake and the dinosaurs were let loose and did go after the people. So technically, some dinosaurs were blood thirsty.
Yup yup yup
That's a Real Debate.. John Williams or Hans Zimmer... You can't choose one.. Can't hate one.. Thank You Legend
It's no debate, it's John Williams. Hes made music for multiple Academy award-winning scores throughout this world No question about it. No disrespect to the other fellow but john williams where it's at
If they ever did find a way to bring dinosaurs back...and made a park out of it. The first ones you see, this theme should play when you do.
i you like this then i suggest you check out the star trek first contact theme and skip to about 32 seconds in

A couple of years ago, before Covid happened, I was lucky enough to go on safari in Botswana. I still remember one particular day when we were driving in the jeep, and then around sunset we caught site of a herd of giraffes, slowly walking behind a line of trees with their heads silhouetted against the sky. This music went through my head - it was a magical moment.
That's awesome 👌
"They do move in herds" 😢
Nature is amazing, isn't it?
This song transcends the film. I firmly believe this is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written. I also believe that, along with the finale of Beethoven's 9th, Ode to Joy, this will be played inside the gates of heaven as we enter and step toward the throne of God Almighty.
The savannas of africa are so marvellous!
RIP Richard "John Hammond" Attenborough you will be always remembered as the man who got us into the wonderful world of Jurassic Park.
Do you know what your problem is Alex? Well, besides being a cold, unfeeling sociopath who uses the deaths of others as a way to get attention? You know absolutely nothing about others unless it feeds directly into one of your Autistic interests. I mean, I know fuck-all about Richard Attenborough, but at least I knew he was in _Loot_.
Hey!! I am not using it as attention! I typed it up cause I was paying my respects to the man you dip-shit! Now Scram!!!

Imagine, its the first time you’re seeing a realistic, living dinosaur on screen in the theatre with Dolby professional surround speakers, resounding the vibrations of the music as this moment of cinematic history plays out. Then, the giant Dino lands, two front feet hit the ground and the bass vibrates his landing just as the climax of the music hits and goes through your body. It felt magical and amazing enough to cry even from the memory.

I was 5. I used to watch JP, JP2 and JP3 back to back, but the first one always felt special. A year later, my abusive step-mother moved in. The memories I made watching JP were my calm before the storm.
I am now 21, helping my father divorcing this woman. I am trying my best to help my half brother navigating those scary times, he is so young, so little. I am glad I can watch the movie that helped me so much during a hard childhood with him, and help him feel the magic. Many things changed, I lost some feathers on the way, but I know I am always welcomed to Jurassic Park
Am I alone in thinking that this is John Williams' best score out of his entire career? I have such insane nostalgia for this franchise, I just can't help but get emotional when I hear that theme kick in
For me its Indiana Jones. But that is highly subjective
@@usulsk Id say good choice, but lets be real here, the man is flawless. there are no bad choices.

Well, I'm 16, and I think that most movies before 2000 are some of the best. This movie is one of them, along with the BTTF series. The only movie that actually got to me recently was either The Martian or Interstellar.
I'm 13 and i still cry listening to this. ;-;
Carlos Sierra I'm 17, means a lot to me too. When I was little I had this really wonderful neighbor that would babysit me while my mom was out drinking, and she brought the original trilogy DVD set and watched it with me. I immediately loved it. Classics are for everyone man.
The Confident Gamer BTTF series? Really? Even the third one? Lol
the Back To The Future series had great special effects for it's time, the third one was the most lacking in my opinion, but it was still a great movie to watch. They all had their moments that drew you into them. Especially the part with the train.

Kenna LPS
It's been getting terrible reviews in my local newspaper. I'm just assuming the people reviewing it are somehow expecting some oscar winning storyline, movie of the century type of film. This is simply an action packed, dinosaur filled thrill ride that people like me will love!
Movie critics should review movies based off the style of the movie, not compare everything to an academy award winning, heart touching, tear dropping movie. Tell it like it is!
Kenna LPS How were the raptor scenes??? The raptors were always my favorites.
I have many problems with Jurassic World. The underdeveloped characters and poor acting (except for Chris Pratt's character) for one. Also, the forced romance and some fake-looking CGI. But I still enjoyed it overall. Dinosaurs are cool!
Even tho I never saw the movie it's a beautiful song.

Victoria Holland 1st Period never got it either, we just all happen to know how to play it XD
Brian Johnson same
Brian Johnson I randomly figured it out on the oboe. My friend was like "ARE YOU PLAYING JURASSIC PARK?" I was all yeah son I am. It was great.
Andrew Goss The baritone players didn't want anyone else to figure out how to play it, since they wanted to be the only ones who knew, so I learned how just to mess with them. XD My band director ended up having us play it since half my period already knew how xD

I almost have LIG out of my head, except for the following lines: "Don't let them in/don't let them see/be the good girl you always have to be/conceal, don't feel/don't let them know" ...so applicable to some bad times during my pre-teen/teen years.I have had Asperger's 'syndrome' for many, many years and even in childhood, that is basically what a few family members--and society--told me. I bottled it in and that backfired on me. It took me years to tell myself "Well now they know\I don't care what they're going to say..."
Yep.☺
But this is actually fun to get stuck in your head, move over Elsa, we don't wanna hear about your lady problems, we're going back to the 90s to enjoy this awesome theme song
Why do you dare to speak of that wretched song. It even haunts my dreams.
This movie has everything, dinosaurs, a banging music, a great director, Jeff Goldblum...
Everyone had a phase in their life when dinosaurs were fucking awesome. This music brings me back to that phase every time I hear it. From age five to age nine; that's when dinosaurs were the shit for me. I saw Jurassic Park when I was eight; right in the midst of that phase, and it was awesome. One of the greatest movies of all time.
MrPjw5 I remember collecting these dinosaur magazines and every issue had a piece of a glow in the dark TREX skeleton that you could eventually put together and put on display. lol. I was very much a dinosaur obsessed child.
MrPjw5 I'm in my teen years, and my love for Dinosaurs has NEVER died! I have all three JP movies, and I can't wait to see Jurassic World!
MrPjw5 My love for prehistory (I was always more of a pterosaur guy, myself) has recently been revitalized, especially with Jurassic World's impending release :D
MrPjw5 that actually cracked me up a little man, something has never been so true.
I'm 20 and I'm still in it!
“Welcome to Jurassic park”

Ladies and gentlemen, the greatest movie theme of all time.
Yes
dixonmixin10 we will never forget
Agreed
No.
Lucas Henrique Yes.
One of the most moving pieces of music ever composed in my opinion. It's incredible that it happens to accompany what I consider to be the best movie of all time as well. Just an absolute masterpiece.
Jurassic World...
FUCKING ROCKED
FUCKING ROCK A FUCKING ROCK
***** I know!! I watched it last night and it was amazing!
I'm going to see it tomorrow
***** I thought it was terrible. The story was horrible and made no sense, the characters had no development and were very boring, the pacing was terrible, it was too predictable, and overall it felt like a fanfiction.
You know that's right
love the peacefulness of this song. I'm so happy Jurassic park was able to be a part of my childhood.
Ironic when you think that the majority of the movie involves running or hiding from vicious therapods with a taste for human flesh.
Which is strange, when you think about it. You look at animals raised in captivity, even carnivores, and in such an environment they tend to become rather mild and indifferent towards humans. I don't see why dinosaurs raised and cared for by humans would be any different, or turn out as madly aggressive monsters. I guess because it makes for a good movie.
EnDSchultz1 yeah thats what I was thinking. But wild animals raised in captivity might not be as hostile towards humans but they are still wild animals. They weren't domesticated into being part of a human ecosystem. Who knows though, I don't think we've found a frozen dinosaur brain yet to be able to tell.
We'll in the movie I don't think the dinosaurs were captivated for very long but then again I haven't seen the movie in a while so I could very easily be wrong
Also remember they weren't feed dead things they were given live food although it wasn't allowed to run it was still alive so that could've contributed
Me too. I like your profile picture :)
chazofalsa Haha thanks! Clannad is amazing.
Did anyone else wanna cry when they heard this again in Jurassic World? Like a "Welcome back to Jurassic Park" for all of us kids and adults who loved the first movie.
It was amazing and they kept alot of memorable moments from the orginal jurassic park in the movie which made it that more special. Was quite touching. Great film didn't dissapointed
I did end up crying. It was like a sense of being home again
i teared up because NOSTALGIA
i wasn't even born when the movie was released and i still fucking love it.
Yes I did cry. It felt like coming home for me as well. All my childhood memories came back when this song played. After the movie ended I went home and watched all of the Jurassic Park's again. This song gives me goosebumps everytime.

Dammit, the moment I listened to this theme, it felt like I have travelled back to my childhood in 90's from this moment so quick like I haven't even thought of my childhood memories that fast ever. I am 35 now in 2024 and while listening to this theme I almost got tears rolling cz this movie and all of that related to it is connected to my childhood and not only me but to all those 80's/90's kids. Those times would never come back but sure we can keep those moments alive together. 😊❤

I just got engaged and started planning my wedding. I have no idea what the venue will be or even when the big day is, but I know I have to walk down the aisle to this.
It starts out with the oohs and the ahhs, then there is the running and the screaming.
When you meet his family.for the first time.
Thumbs Up

If you don't have a dinosaur themed wedding dress, there is no point.

RedInterceptor TRUE XDDDD
haha great comment by you sir
Thats soo true!! =)
RedInterceptor is it ironic that this song played in my class and I finished the test right at that part
ironically I clicked on this song as soon as I finished my lab report, so yeah you're right.
My admiration of Williams work is not unmatched, but he's definitely in the best of the best category. Other notables: James Horner, Jerry and Joel Goldsmith, Hanz Zimmer, Klaus Badelt. All highly talented and cut from the same cloth as John WIlliams in my opinion.
Hi nice to meet you. My name is Kaio. I played Jurassic Park Main Theme on the Piano! ruclips.net/video/Q3vILgtKXk8/видео.htmlfeature=shared

Only THE, ONE and ONLY John Williams could make such a classical cinema score/theme...
Thank you for the great memories Mr. Williams!
Hans Zimmer - You’re so cool, Danny Elfmans - Ice Dance, anything by Ennio Morricone
But I agree this is very good
@@brusher79 I'm going to have to check that out!
@@brusher79 as great as Zimmer,Elfman,Shore,Silvestri are and Jerry Goldsmith,Micheal Kamen etc.. they've all done great work...but they still cant hold a candle to John Willams imo...Jaws,Star Wars,ET,Indiana Jones,Superman,Jurassic Park,Harry Potter,Close encounters,Hook,Home alone,Schindlers list etc.. his underrated work on Posedion Adventure,Earthquake,Dracula
...hes the greatest of all time imo..but i do love all those other great composers as well
It will be forever in my memory because I can play it on piano 🎹
We played this for a high school band concert. We didn’t have orchestra, but it sounded pretty good for a small town band. John Williams is a treasure!
John Hammond: Dr Grant, my dear Dr Sattler. Welcome to Jurassic Park.

I’m driving in Hawaii to the botanical garden and just had to play this song. I exited a tunnel to gorgeous views of tropical jungle and waterfalls right as the music swelled. Almost burst into tears as I thought to myself: “Welcome to Jurassic Park.” Thank you John Williams for bringing my childhood to life.
They also filmed the movie in Hawaii. There's a chance you saw a place where they filmed part of the movie.
@@HermitKing731I LIVED by it!!
I’m a Bostonian, and submarine veteran. I was stationed at Pearl Harbor from 2006-2014. I lived in Kaneohe by the Ko’Olau mountain range on the windward side of O’ahu off Kamehameha highway. When it would rain, the water would beautifully be coming down the mountain crevices.
It’s one of the most breathtaking places
My Favourite movie of all time. I don't care about some mistake I saw in it, it's just one hell of a master piece.
Not my favourite, but very high up there.

Joe Horne its more like JP just opened my eyes to the theory of evolution. i just see things in my daily life and know that they evolved, and know that its my purpose to learn as much as i can about this

Did you happen to read the novel? It was just as good, if not better than the movie, in my opinion.
This theme just takes me back to the wonderful times. Wish I could relive those moments.😢

"Dr. Grant, my dear Dr. Sattler... Welcome to Jurassic Park." Get's me everytime
Strong case for THE best moment in all of film and television history. It’s my favorite anyway
Attenborough's delivery is pitch perfect.
It’s one of those rare scenes that grows on you and gets better every time you see it. Perfection.
