Will Tesla Report A Profit In Q2 2020? 🧐💲

- My expectations for Tesla's financials in Q2, are $5.9B in revenue and $121M in GAAP operating income. If deliveries continue ramping, Tesla has a good shot of hitting its (pre-COVID) 2020 delivery guidance of 500,000+ units. Additionally, with deliveries beating production by about 8K units in the quarter, cash flow will likely be positive (around $1B). On the conference call I'll be looking for updates on Gigafactory Shanghai, the Tesla Semi and 2H 2020 deliveries. Overall, this was a SUPER impressive quarter. Tesla was able to grow deliveries by 2% despite the pandemic, and has a shot at another profitable quarter. Let me know what you think below!!

Great video. Your factual data based non click bait videos have been extremely useful as an investor. Data is the most valuable resource in the world and TESLA has so much of it over its "competitors", is so much more technologically advanced, and has so much brand loyalty. I trust that the capital i invest in the company will be put to good use and the growing quarterly deliveries (even in a pandemic) is the evidence to show teslas growth. I've been investing in tesla for years and putting all my chips in ..even though there will be ups and downs along the way.. 5 years from now the company and stock will be worth much more than it is now.

The profit should be higher since they delivered over 30k in China and they make way more profit on those than in USA, but is jut my guess.

Why would Tesla lease the Y? And why so cheaply? Because they want to boost demand AND get those cars BACK. Last year they changed lease terms so that lessees CANNOT BUY THE CAR at the end of the lease. They are prepping for their Tesla Auto-Taxi network. And they want YOU to subsidize the first 3 years depreciation. Then they’ll add those millions of leases to the network.

This quarter benefitted from a huge over-supply of excess production from Q1, with more deliveries, so I would expect a comfortable GAAP profit. (IMO, Not an analyst)
