The Ten Commandments and Benhur are my 2 favourite movies of all time. Charleston Heston is one of my legendary actors, who played the role of Moses. LEGENDS ARE ALWAYS LEGENDS, they cannot be compared. The expressions while he opens the SEA is the best, I ever liked. The Ten Commandments along with Ben Hur are by far my favorite Biblical films. The cast as a whole was outstanding, but my favorites were Charlton Heston and Anne Baxter. Heston is of course an iconic Actor whose presence was so powerful and impactful. Bravo to Cecil B. DeMille for Producing and directing this epic once in a lifetime motion picture. Gabe Videla

I was nine years old and in elementary school in Stockbridge, Ga. in 1956. They closed the school and bused us all to a theater to see this movie. That was in a different time and that couldn't happen today.
It was one of the greatest movie ever made. They all well sited their paths but the one that stood out most to me is Yul Brina. He had such an impressive and commanding charisma that brought out the character which he portrayed so marvelously.

My favorite character from "The Ten Commandments" is the Captain of the Sardinian Guard (the impressive fellow in the horned helmet), played by the great Clint Walker. How he got that small part is fascinating, and it led to his being cast as the heroic cowboy in the excellent series "Cheyenne" in 1955. Truly sad to report that we lost him in 2018, age 90.
Yul Brynner was one of a kind...not like the so-called stars of today...His last days were spent on stage playing the king in the King and I as he bravely battled lung cancer. 1973 I had recently begun my Christian journey. This movie made the Exodus story alive for me including the Red Sea scene. I loved all the actors, BBH faves. 2023 and I still love this movie and the quality of the acting. Thanks so much.

When I was 11 years old, living in outside Wilcox, Az my then parents mother and step father drove to Tucson, Az to the Fox Theater, a very popular theater to see the TEN COMMANDMENTS, it became my most favorite movie, this was in 1959. It's a masterpiece...all of the cast are oustanding...they all fit to their characters...My all time favorite Biblical Films...All the characters here played their part so well...I almost watch it every year, and would watch it over and over again......

When I was 11 years old, living in outside Wilcox, Az my then parents mother and step father drove to Tucson, Az to the Fox Theater, a very popular theater to see the TEN COMMANDMENTS, it became my most favorite movie, this was in 1959. Now I have a movie poster, and the copy of that very movie,something to cherish always. thanks so much for your then and now of this classic.

I loved Jashua because he had a really important call in the bible, just like Kaleb, they were all important, but Jashua was given a very difficult task by God......but it was a fantastic movie, very close to the truth.....
