I am not indian but watching numerous ancient Tara statues pictures convinced me that India has the best metal sculptures in the world. Because the shape and forms of the represented deiities are always exquisite with natural and beautiful body lines, postures and proportions. Some of the represented Tara feminine goddess are the most beautiful representation of woman i have ever seen in any art form in any period. Something tells me there must have been women dancers like that. Other asians countries cannot compare. India is apparently the mother of this art form.

If i understand correctly the wax model vaporizes during the casting process. This is the right way, this means the statue will be unique in the world. This is true art.
