And, of course I technically know you are a real person, but often it's just the vidéos I watch, without any thoughts behind it. So its kinda odd to see this and realise you are a real person, if that makes sense ?
You're not just pretty drawings, you're a person with a cool cat, and a cool dog, a pet shark, and a very pretty bedroom ! You just moved out and you're feeling stressed about it, and it makes it all so real !
It's funny because I have no idea where you live and from my perspective, it looks exotic but a bit familiar too, I don't know xD
As I age, moving out is getting closer and closer, and it's really stressing me out, for a lot of reasons, but I saw this video as very hopefull, and right now, I'm not that scared about it anymore
It's just great, I don't know what feelings you really are experiencing about all this, but it made me happy

I genuinely love this and your other content so much, the different scenes are all so cool. I like the small bits, like showing the person running (and the sky above it) and you tapping your shoes together. Your new place looks so pretty, and the song choice is amazing!! It matches the video so much. Each sky shot is absolutely stunning, and the whole video is too.
Hey, I'm a Narrative Designer, so it's my job to create and tell stories. I'd just like to say that this short might possibly be one of the best inspiration pieces I've ever come across. Allow me to rant for a minute (and feel free to glaze over the jargon).
Everything from the establishing shots having shared shot continuity with a consistant cast, to the music sync aligning with the emotional beats throughout show that you have a true talent for storycraft. I was hooked from the start, with the into shot functioning in tandem with the home video aesthetic as a highly evocative Save The Cat. From there on you very quickly establish a cast through a surprisingly natural and smooth habitat insertion, and manage to secure an emotional connection between the audience and the location through several beautiful slice-of-life moments taken from a broad range of selective milieu. Within a minute you manage to hook the audience, giving them an level of emotional connection to the location that I've seen professionals fail to capture. And God damn, the way it all culminates when the pedal tone cuts into the traveling montage is incredible. Later on you demonstrate an understanding of pinch points, as well as placing your midpoint in a place I would never have even considered, but somehow it works perfectly. I mean god damn, even the Shark providing a throughline is well implimented. And don't even get me started on the audio/video noise mixing.
There's way too much to go into here but know that this is an absolute masterpiece. I hope you have a degree in this because otherwise, you're putting the rest of us all to shame! Not many videos get to go into the Story Inspiration folder, but this definitely makes the cut. Keep on at it; you'll go far!

the beginning captures how i feel looking around and realizing that i'll only be home for one more year before i go across the country. it all feels so fake right now, and i can't fathom how it's going to be for myself and my family (mother especially) when i'm gone. this gives me so much hope for my future.
your mom(i'm guessing) at the end saying she's happy, and can tell you're happy, gives me hope that my mom will be the same, and that i will be too
I really love the rain shots. The artistic feel of this whole video is just so very.. warm to me. It feels warm. Maybe I cried! What then! This is a beautiful work of art.
