Resident Evil (バイオハザード, spelled Baiohazādo or simply Biohazard in Japan) is a survival horror game by Capcom and is the first game in the Resident Evil series. It was originally released in 1996 for the PlayStation and has been subsequently ported to the Sega Saturn and PC, then re-released twice on the PlayStation in the form of a Director's Cut. A Game Boy Color version of Resident Evil was planned, but later canceled by Capcom, citing that the port was of poor quality. Capcom later released a new game in the series for the platform titled Resident Evil Gaiden. In 2002, a remake of the game was released for the Nintendo GameCube featuring new graphics and voice acting among other significant changes. A Nintendo DS port of the original, with added modes and the subtitle Deadly Silence, was released in early 2006.
While not the first survival horror game, its success propelled the genre to new heights of popularity and was the first game to coin the term.
Man, that music still creeps me out still to this day 25 years later. The way the zombies play dead after falling and you walking by them, then they grab you, always, always makes me jump up out of my seat lol.
The concept of this game is just extremly perfect. That creepy big Mansion in the middle of a forest on a huge Mountain. I was thinking that place must already be a scary place even without the Zombies and Monsters.

this Resident Evil video game is a classic it came out in 1996 I was in school that same year in 1996 back at Elementary my teacher was Saundo my first school year entry before Greenbelt Middle School I had all kind of subjects all myself Deonte Lamar Merritt was taking EIIP tests in elementary in 1996 that date it saids long time ago so old my early years of my sucess to the top getting a Diploma after all those years I love this game I played remake of Resident Evil in 2002 on Nintendo Gamecube with Jill Valentine loved it I play the original 1996 version Resident Evil in 2000 something played it twice in my life trying beat it wow the 90s was golden those were the days it all happened to fast at least I had a good life in the 1990s and early 2000s long long hour hour years that would last a longtime in my heart I love myself and my sucess that memories brings back good ones not the bad ones I love it forever and ever remembering kissing my sweetheart in Greenbelt Middle thats old old all of it is I will be 30 years old in 2021 almost only 4 years ahead bout turn 26 this year my age in 2018 I will 27 years old in 2019 I will be 28 years old of age then 29 of age in 2020 then 30 years of age I lost weight and skinny I also remain on my diet and forever eat heathly now its 2017 and I was born in 1991 26 years ago the early 1990s amazing years coming up.
I never played this when it was new but around 2002 I saw ome at my friends house and borrowed it.I busted out the O.G PlayStation and had a ball.Great retro game.I cant remember what happens when you beat it.Does anyone remember?
It's the version without autoiming, right? =) True fans never use autoaiming =)

My God...The voice acting and dialogue are awful in this game! Haha but it's a relief that they had greater aspects to make-up for!
Jill dosen't look down when did a zombie was on the ground dead by kicking the creature head off. I was really young playing it back then with Jill didn't know what to do so l got killed of a zombie by eating the character really fast and died. In 1998, l played resident evil 2 at the age of 12 years old, maybe, hmmmm.._.._.. Probably 11 or 12 can't really rememing it. I got eaten by zombie back the where they showed Claire Redfiled being killed, so then l said gosh when the zombie eatenmy body, & it was saying you died it was so gross, but whenl got older over the years played it over and over again because l'm a fan of the games and 6 flims of it. In 1999, resident evil was boring and Jill was better looking in my time. I want to see the 7th lnstallment of the movie series. I will play in the playstation classic.
I wanted to see how the past of these games was I sincerely regret it now because it's extremely crap
