Always great to hear Wasim - seems to be one of the few neutral guys from Pakistan. Some Pakistani fans seem to have collectively lost their minds. Trying to find tiniest of excuses - latest being scrutinizing Sky's catch with shitty footage, while Pakistani team routinely drops sitters in critical matches.
India did well to fix many of the issues with the combinations in the past, and put team before individuals this time. Arshdeep bowled exceptionally well and is now deservingly a hero.
But Bumrah is class apart and in his prime. What a bowler. I have not seen Marshall. But I have seen Ambrose, Wasim, Donald, McGrath, Steyn. Bumrah is right up there with the best, and playing in the most batting friendly conditions. He has taken fast bowling beyond what was imagined would be possible in this era. None of the legends I named were so far ahead of their peers.
The over he bowled to Klaasen and Miller was just pure fire. Hats off. Giving away just 4 runs against possibly the most feared batting pair in this format. What a bowler! Hope he plays for a long time. It is a joy to watch him bowl regardless of format. Gives it a 110% every game.
