Half flints and half daggers is way more effective. Because DPS=Dmg x Atk Spd, it's much better to have +100% of each (4x DPS) than +200% of one (3x DPS). This trend gets even more pronounced at higher values; for example a run with 1000% total bonus points does 11x DPS if it's all in one stat, but 26x DPS if split evenly. Even better than this, though, is probably something like 2/3rds Flints and 1/3rd Axes, because it's pointless to deal more damage to an enemy than they have HP. With 5 axes and 11x enemy spawns you should pretty easily get the point where even a Flint can 1-hit most late wave enemies.
this was really fun and I hope you'll make more of these, building on a character's gimmick(in this case giving multitasker 15 hands and various buffs) idea: explorer with map sized *way* up and extra movespeed, faster enemies, and *WAY WAY* more trees then normal. (maybe also get the bag as a starting item)

Hey, that was fun. Like the explosions being disabled especially with this attack speed. Think it would just blot out the screen otherwise. Had a mod idea: "Crates only", shop is disabled, crate drop rate massively increased, weapons can be found in crates, crates can't be skipped and but only rerolled using the money you get.
As Mekgineer Thermaplugg would say: "Explosions! MORE explosions! I've got to have more explosions!" As for the modded runs, I would like to see more crazy stuff! As long as there aren't too many modded runs and no more normal ones. Otherwise it will quickly become boring.
Yea I plan to do 1 normal run and 1 modded run in the future, exchanging each day. There is a ton of normal stuff that can be done and I don't plan to stop brotato anytime soon

Thank you for keeping the white explosions off. The issue is that the flashing white lights hurts my eyes. And I'm sure it could trigger an epileptic reaction from someone too. :)
As you asked for it, i prefer the "non-white" explosions, as you can still see the explosion itself without the flash, which was annoying and causing headache for me (not to mention the epilepsy-posibility)
I think there's a limit to the actual amount of enemies on the map, and when a new enemy appear the oldest one disappear, so it might be that you are always at the max limit

I watched it through brotha, i get what you were saying but it was fun to watch it. Its not like a game of soccer, fun to play boring to watch, this was more like a game of brotato, fun to play fun to watch.
Check back how far youre knifes shoot out to hit an enemy, its crazy. Also the enemies spawn in the same place but they block the rest of the ones that would spawn by being in that position already. If you can try to mod the game where youre presence cannot block enemy spawns it might work better there and they wont block each others spawn and you trully get 10x more enemies
Dex has a video about modding the game and where he gets the mods when he doesn't make his own. At least I think it was Dex but I do know there's a 3 minute or so video here on RUclips that someone did about modding this game. Hope that helps...

Can you also mod character stats to increase after each wave like the one ring does with damage? I feel like later waves could use higher enemy count to compensate for your higher money income. Or monster HP increase if that exists.
I could see 2 ways. Either on the character itself but it depends if this can be given as a trait, or just making it an item and everyone starts with it - taking the mechanic from saver starting with Piggy Bank

i think the dev is a fan of of modding. they allow people to post their modds in the discord so i dont see them having a problem with you putting them in there too

I dunno what the feedback has been but personally I much prefer seeing the entire shop process rather than an overview at the end, makes it easier to process what has changed from last wave

I think it should be called "Big Brain" and give the character like 100 luck or something but call it dumb luck. Not to insult Dex at all I just think he'd find it very funny...
I'm willing to bet that there's a limit of enemies that can appear on the screen, that's why it felt like less than 1000% more enemies. You could see it during the rounds with knives that more enemies appeared the instant you killed some. And it feels like the limit of enemies on the screen increases with waves so there's more enemies on wave 19 than 1, although it might be misleading as the spawn rate on lower waves could be just too slow to fill the cap. At the same time I'm wondering if trees apply to the same limit on the screen as enemies and if it's possible to mod the game for trees to outspawn enemies :)

As a note the game handles literally holding every single weapon at once. It's like beautiful truly and takes up half the screen.

I disabled the white explosions in my game as well. It's painful on the eyes.
The potato launcher does barely any damage. It's made for knockback.
The really bright explosions can cause seizures and is best off on fast runs.

At a certain point, dodge would be better than armor. Because instead of taking reduced damage, you won't take any damage at all
Dodge is capped at 60%, armor is uncapped but gets limited hard. I think in a case like here it really doesn't matter lol

The white radius flash kinda hurts my eyes tbh, I disabled it in my game
wave 9 made most of the ghost flint just spin
white is a very bright color and with it flashing very frequently can hurt peoples eyes.
